How many people are waiting for their commission from Imaresqd1?

Hey guys, It's been a while. I apologize for the delay. Long story short, I got a full time job that's totally not art related....had to move..etc
Anyway, All the private commissions are shipped except Steven.G's order(which will be shipped by the end of next week.)
I probably won't be taking any commissions anymore due to many reasons.

Thank you guys, it's been great, and you guys have been very good to me.

I agree he is not doing a new sculpt he is casting and painting.the thing that really sucks is seeing an adam sculpt for sale.I have seen 3 of them including an interagation scene which you could have by now.he is the best at what he does so I guess he can do what he wants.I mean if he is gonna charge top doller than he should be a profesional and not make excuses of stuff he has to do.he can't work cause of school,exams or moving.I. am not trying to rip the guy but I was hoping to buy the other heads he made but I might be better of waiting until someone decides to sell one.

Your head will be one of a kind, you'll see it in hand.

Good luck with the new job. Hopefully you'll keep sculpting for yourself and haven't gotten burnt out from taking on all the commissions. It's easy to start hating a hobby when it turns into a job.

A pity to hear that, I was holding myself from sending Adam a PM for a commission due to his saturated schedule and now....everything is gone....well, not losing perspective I really know that real 1/1 life is waaaay more important than the hobby...

It's easy not to turn a hobby into a job...simply don't take on more commissions than you are physically able to do in a certain amount of time

1,2, maybe 3 projects at a time. Maybe one per week. Whatever works with your schedule. Art takes time but having unrealistic expectations about how fast you can get things done will easily turn into a burden. This is unfortunately a common issue on this and other sites.

A good rule of thumb is to estimate how many hours you think something will take to complete and us a 2.5 multiplier. Include breaks and leisure time.

Works pretty good for me...and it's more accurate than I believed it would ever be.

Oh no doubt.I was just venting a little I was not trying to knock you.its a scary thing sending money to someone and you don't here from them.you are by far the best at what you do bar none and if it took 2 years to get one I probly would.I know I am going to be happy with this and I. Hope you continue doing 1/6 scale sculpts.you have a gift like knowone else and I'm sure I won't be the only one disapointed if you stop making heads.

Has anyone heard from adam?he posted my head was gonna be done and shipped by sept 25.its now the middle of october and I have e mailed him numerous times and get no response.I just would like to know when he is really going to ship it.I was originally told the end of july.then again in sept.if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I have heard from him recently - your head may well have shipped on 25 Sep but Adam is now in China so it may be taking a little longer in the mail.

I am due to call him this weekend so I can check for you anyway
