And this lolI really want a rebel figure with that classic outfit and helmet.
none.
if you don't come from ep 4-6 you won't be on my shelf.
im a little surprised the market is what it is for all these johnny come lately characters.....its all a bit soulless to me. my collection habits are based on things that harken to my youth. none of these characters are collection worthy for me.
Trying to not get the whole line like usual:
Jyn (Deluxe)
K2SO
Darth Vader
Death Trooper Specialist
Death Trooper
Stormtrooper
Stormtrooper Jedha Patrol
Stormtrooper 2-pack
Shoretrooper(I would get all three versions but only one has gone for PO)
C2-B5
I already have a custom Tarkin and bought a Disney Store Krennic--but--
I would also get:
Cassian
Jyn(imperial ground crew...just for the imperial)
Tarkin
Krennic
Royal Guard
Tank Trooper
Obviously I like the Empire
Yeh, zero for me too. Rising prices, a tanking dollar and growing kids have killed my collecting.
Yet you are in this thread.
Just saw the movie....
... because I thought it was perfect and worth a in depth collection. Best stars film ever for me. Empire is now in 2ND place. Never thought... but yea wow!
1. TARKIN.
I did consider the Death Troopers, but they play such an underwhelming role in the film that I would be buying them for mere design alone. Upon seeing the film, one realises that none of the new Troopers distinguish themselves. Indeed, they could be replaced with basic OT Troops and it would make no difference at all. Although I love the design, it seems like a mere marketing variation.
And the film, as terrific as it is, thwarts any real logic as to its differentiated troopers. If Jedha is the primary source of kyber crystal, which powers the Empire's greatest weapon, surely the place would be crawling with elite Death Troopers to defend it rather than bog standard Troops who can't hit the broad side of a barn (particularly if local rebel insurgents are raiding at regular intervals). The same applies perhaps even more to Scarif, where the Death Star plans are held. But, no, the Death Troopers effectively function as mere bodyguards.
Tarkin stole the Death Star from Krennic, then proceeded to kill him with it. That deserves a figure.
