LOL...that is definitely one way to do it. I may have to try that because I am having trouble finding a cheap program that will do it.

Here were my exact steps:

First, "Trim to Selection" in Quicktime is the key (2 little arrows you move back and forth, you'll see them).

Started with Mpeg 4 of Batman Begins (digital copy of movie on my laptop that plays in itunes, .Mv4 file).

Played file with Quicktime player.

Under Edit, used Trim to Selection of the 2 second scene I wanted of Rachel bouncing in the Tumbler (2 seconds, crazy). Saved that 2 second clip into a new file, don't want to ruin the original digital copy movie file.

Under View, used Loop to play chosen scene over and over.

Filmed scene with camcorder which now gave me an mpeg file that I can use in Windows Movie Maker.

Took file from camcorder and added to my laptop.

Audio chosen was "Rachel" (1 second, more crazy). This was done by simply recording the audio while the movie was playing with my iphone voice memo recorder, I then emailed the m4a audio file to myself from the iphone.

Opened audio file with Quicktime on my laptop.

I then looped the "Rachel" over and over with Quicktime player under Edit via first Trimming to Selection the exact length I wanted then simply copying and pasting the same audio clip over and over chaining it together one after another, just make sure to "select all", "copy" then "paste", all under Edit.

Chained audio was then converted from m4a to .Wav via Export option in Quicktime player.

The Looped .Wav audio of "Rachel" was now placed into Windows Movie Maker.

Get this, here is the reason why I had to loop the "Rachel" audio via Quicktime into one long chained file with him saying "Rachel" over and over.

I first tried the "Rachel" audio in Movie Maker without it being looped, I just placed him yelling "Rachel" once (the original recording) into Movie Maker but added that same file over and over again, I added the seperate file one after another.

But in the final movie, the "Rachel" came out broken up, the Movie Maker couldn't save it correctly.

I thought I was screwed.

But with looping many "Rachel's" into just one file, it worked.

Movie Maker was able to handle the one long audio file vs many audio files one after another.

I would've rather had worked with the original video file then having to film off the screen, but that's copyright issues for you. :lol

I wanted to complete this project right there and then instead of waiting for a friend of mine to give me an Mpeg unprotected copy of the movie.

I'll probably do that later, the same mini movie but in higher quality right from the movie instead of camcorder.

Whew, hope this helps :lol
