How would you rate the quality of 1:6 scale figures these days?

I think the quality of HT is on the up as well, some of the new figures are stunning. I remember seeing the Alien Ripley figure and thinking she was amazing, now the stuff makes that figure look a bit... meh.

And the 1/4 scale Heath Ledger Joker is something I just don't look at online anymore for fear of signing up to a payment plan

I think it's also incredible how fast the can turn out new figures now.

My biggest problem with Hot Toys (apart from the price -thanks Brexit for making that even worse...) is the lack of any indication of the run size, and then their apparent happiness to create more and more runs for popular characters.

Maybe real hair, that could maybe take it to the next level, as well as natural looking (in all poses) seamless joints. Other than that, I feel Hot Toys are just brilliant, all they need to do is keep perfecting their head sculpts, detail, material and durability.
