HT ALIENS Warrior redux?

It's the old Palisades bust sculpt. But, the tongue is in, not out.

Damn...now I'm just totally disappointed.

So...why would HT have a photoshopped image featuring the Palisades bust?

maye there borrowing their sculpt for the figure ?.
Didn't they do that for the facehuggered head for the kane figure ?.
Borrow palisades sculpt from their mini and lifesize bust.

That image probably isn't from Hot Toys, but somebody's photoshop work. It has no logo on it. It's looking like a hoax. Should have known. Shucks.

If they are taking Palisades sculpts as their own, they should use the 1/6 Aliens Warrior figure headsculpt. That one is near perfect.

I think they could be borrowing the sculpt from them for the figure.
Since Palisades went bust but probably still own some of the sculpts ( or someone does at least ) they probably contacted them and got the rights to use them cheap.

The image is on the website. You would just have to search for the products section for Aliens and it should be the main image up at the top of the page. I cannot believe they are using the old Palisades sculpts.

I'm guessing now but I do belive that there going to use that sculpt for a new figure.
The main reasons being...

* Its the palisades sculpt and they have used one before

* It is their sculpt but the tounge is in the mouth probably meaning hot toys have altered the overall sculpt to make it posable.

* Its on the hot toys website and they love teasing with things like that !.


Am I happy about it ?. Hell yes !. More alien products to me is awesome.
Is the sculpt accurate because I wouldn't have a clue ?...

Wow, it sure is there! Maybe it just looks so much like the Palisades one because the Palisades one was so close anyway (at least by Hot Toys standards).
