the quality of the photos are fine, what I meant is the figures dont look that great. been reading shiro's stuff ever since he started his career and he can draw very dynamic fighting poses. if the HT's appleseed can only do standing poses then I am not interested.

Her ass doesn't look as hot as it did on the prototype (not that I notice action figure's asses, of course). Do they just not know how to pose hot-ass figures in Asia? Or did Hot Toys tone her down???

I wonder how much longer before Sideshow ships.

From the pics the figure does seem a little stiff, but I have to wonder if the Takara version will be any more poseable.

Oh, and the Brierios looks amazing, Hot Toys did a great job.

Yeah, desperate for 1:6 ass. You know it.

Normal people would prefer the wilted Medicom ass on Kusanagi, not of course because the esthetics would be wretched, but so they can prove that they don't lust after toys. Because, apparently, they need to prove that.

Are you saying you don't care if her ass is ugly? That you're completely ambivalent to whether or not a character, who was drawn with proportions as stellar as hers, is represented in three dimensions with said beauty fully in tact? It's not important at all to you, huh?

Wouldn't have bothered you if Emma Frost had been an A cup, right? You wouldn't have minded Mary Jane fully dressed, right? How about a Spiderwoman maquette wrapped in a tent? More to your liking than red spandex? Right?

Ok. I'll be desperate. That atleast excludes me from having the problem you got stuck with.

Look...if you pay $150 friggin' dollars for a female figure you want to see some great ass action going on there. You can say that you don't, and that it's weird and that everyone's a loser, and they probably are--who knows.

I'm just saying...$150 is enough to buy real ass. The least they can provide is some visually appealing plastic ass.

Deunan didn't turn out quite as well as I hoped. The rubber at the elbows looks like crap when bent and in a figure that has guns, it's a requisite that it look good in weapon firing poses. Her head also looks a little too small when compared with her body.
The body is the real let down, it looks like Takara's is the better version, but I really wish that figure had an anime head like Hot Toy's version.
Briareos looks like he faired better, but I can't be sure until I see him in some weapon firing poses.

I really want Briareos though, regardless of what he looks like posed. I hope these don't hit the US until late February.

i ordered it from amazon.com about 2 weeks ago and it shipped 1 week ago. but as i live in the UK it will probably take another week or so. couldn't wait the extra year or so for it to be released here. hopefully i'll have it soon. the earlier it comes the longer i have in my life to fret that i don't have the HT figures.

I picked it up. I got the Collector's Edition at Best Buy which was on sale for $22.99 and I had $10 in Reward certs, so the total was only $14.06!

Loved the movie! It is visually amazing and the story is pretty good. The extras are really good as well! I personally would recommend it!
