Too bad it doesn't look like him.
The first impression I have for this Kane head sculpt is Burce Campbell !

it doesn't bother me at all this time with the sculpt. I plan on using the facehugger anyway. 
Its too much of an iconic moment not too and it should look great next to my 1:1 facehugger bust. the head on the figure and the bust are near enough identical.

I don't know, kids. It looks like this sculpt might end up being salvageable after all.

...now I'm not saying it's a dead ringer for Hurt or anything like that, but it has given me at least a little hope that it might not be a total loss. We may very well be surprised at what's hiding under that mustache and paint once we get these in-hand.

HT won't have any likeness rights issues with Hurt, that's for sure. Major bummer to me...
This doesn't bode well for getting a Complete line of Nos Figs either.
But Dallas is an Instant Classic!
I guess someone will do a Custom Sculpt of Hurt/Kane and that may help many out, but that's another $75 head to pay for on top of the $150.

I think that head is going to stay in the box or straight to the trashcan.
Why did they even bother to put a mustache on him? Even without the mustache it looks nothing like John Hurt.
p.s. Love the 3D poster Facebox! Is the lightup custom? I read a review for it once and I don't remember a lightup function.

I think this may in fact have been the sculpt we were seeing all along. If you look just at the top part of his head, it looks a lot like it.

Great pix Facebox, you lucky sod! I'm still waiting on my order from play.com, it's now saying they'll have them in next week, gits. OMG why oh why did John Hurt get a cob on about HT using his ikeness? We do not deserve this.
