Not meaning to turn this into a dog forum, but Josh's puppy reminds me of my dog. She loves to go into the collector room and check out my stuff....

Is that a model of Disneyland?

I wish they made the idol plinth hollow. Would have been a nice little spare item storage container ;)

Great to see a normal jones..been modding so much lately hahaha...btw get the hasbro ark...way better than sideshow

:lol I kinda like that idea!

I use the ark to store Toht's extra head in there!

just realised it is actually hollow! Though if only the lid on the bottom half had a big opening hole. I'd mod it, though wouldn't know how to drill a hole that big. Wouldnt want to cut it all wonky either :S

Just got my figure on thursday and my opinion is that the accessories are all great and the headsculpt is not ht's best but its not as bad as some people make it to be. Overall im glad I got it since I know there's not a better IJ figure out there.

Word of warning:

It is not wise to display DX Indy standing next to DX Sparrow.

The short comings of the sculpt then become.....more obvious

It is wise to display DX Indy standing next to Medicom Indy.

The win of the sculpt then becomes... more obvious.

I've had this thing for two weeks now, and I still can't decide if I like it or not. Sometimes it looks like Ford, sometimes it doesn't. I'm very reluctant to go cutting and trying to mold the head on a $200 figure. I actually wish I hadn't bought the damn thing.

HT Sparrow definitely blows this Indy out of the water.

It's funny. I have my Sideshow Indy separate from the HT Indy, and when I look at the SS Indy I think it looks pretty damn good! Then I look at it next to the HT version and I'm very surprised to see how the quality seems to drop instantly. Pretty much automatically it makes the SS one look like a toy when it's next to the HT one. The quality is just so much finer on the HT version. The likeness is not there on the HT Indy, but all the details are extremely well done. Like the Batman Professor said, sometimes it kinda looks like Ford, and sometimes it's not even close.

Geez, this figure has been such a thorn in my side. HT should have knocked this out of the park. It should have been flawless. But there's no denying the likeness is off (and those fracking arms!). I wanted to really love it. But it's such a disappointment.

However, the sting is wearing off a bit and I like seeing the figure up on my shelf. And I can appreciate the quality and details of the figure.

I don't know if this questions was already answered or even asked but is it worth replacing the Hot Toys idol scene with the Sideshow version? Can someone PLEASE tell me if it's worth it?THANX!^_^

We all have different opinions but MOST of us who have seen it in person really like it. It is excellent- not perfect.
