I'm new to the customizing stuff with these figures. How did you go about weathering the coat? That looks great. I've only glued down the collar. About as far as my talents would take me.
Somebody sell me a kato or SS jacket. Please.
Once I find a Kato, I'll sell you my SS!
Here ya go:

Put a little of that stuff on and you're good to go. Although I must tell you that I also took out the lining of the jacket so it would lay better. Not sure if it does or not but I like the feel of it. I mat go over it with some paints eventually.
While you're there pick up Todd's Indy jacket. Extremely screen accurate at a great price!

My mfisher set is ordered and should be in my hands in a few weeks!!! I am super stoked to get this and put them on my Indy!!!
I followed Fiend's lead and took the lining out of the arms on a spare jacket I had. I didn't take the lining out anywhere else. Left about 1/4 inch of lining around the wrist so it still looks like the lining is there looking at him. It makes a difference. I may try to weather it a bit.
Would help a lot if I had a narrow shouldered body with the sculpted torso instead of that damn TTM-19.
Thanks!!! I will probably snag me a bottle of this.
You really should. It's cheap and the bottle they give you will last a long time. Mine came in what looks like an empty spice container. Like the kind cinnamon comes it. It's plenty as you only need a little to do the job. I have a feeling mine is going to last years.
gonna bite the Bullet & have me 1 of these
i like the 2 diif attires , so at least you can mix it up a bit & have a bit of Fun ?
and the price is very good considering the goodies that you get ??
Nice - you'll like it... it's definitely way better in hand than the pics would have you believe...
