You can try the method that I posted earlier. It is quite easy and fun. Think of it this way , there is no way you can do a worst job than the original !!! Trust me !

Anyone else thinking HT is having issues with Fox?

Not just the mssing Predator line, but the non-articulated legs of the Alien3 dog alien, now this sculpt AND a deliberately ill-painted second sculpt.

Odd moves for a company that has just been getting better and better over this past year.

The terrible HT paint job on the facehugger sculpt is simply beyond my understanding.

I'm much more disappointed with the facehugger's lack of attention than I am about the John Holmes sculpt.

There are plenty of comedy poses he could do with the fachugger on him.

Otherwise, what about a pic of him thrashing about on the floor. Or how about a close-up of him peering into the egg with the other head?

Nice details. Overall, it looks like a great figure, it just isn't John Hurt. And it doen't look like it's too posable. Is the suit made of soft material? I like the lighting in the figure. Great poses. What else can you do with him?

Yes, the suit is made of soft material. I guess it does post like the real thing, which is not very posable in the first place. Too bad about the Hurt head . I am quite sure a custom head sculpt will turn up pretty soon. But for now I am fine with using the facehugged head. Well , after a repaint of course.

The day I met the man himself at London Film & Comic Con - July 2008. Couldnt get a pic with him but I asked about his cameo in Spaceballs and how he liked doing it and if he was worried Ridley Scott would be pissed off.

Haven't said much up til now. Great posts and repaint LMP.
I am thinking I will just display him like that myself. No cancellation, but I do regret cancelling Dallas now, as he is at least the actor. Again, to repeat the obvious, a nice Hurt headsculpt is welcome here. No panic at least, with the alternate available.

I see Sideshow have finally updated their gallery to show the porn star headsculpt. Also, it is now shown as sold out. I know I keep going on about this, but as a fan of the movie, Sideshow and Hot Toys I'm pi##ed. They keep the John Hurt sculpt on their site, wait until it's sold out, then update it with the crappy headsculpt? I hope the Predator fans aren't treat the same way with the Dutch figure.

I hope Hot Toys shows us what it looked like at some point on their website,like they did with the Jet Li "Warrior" figure which they were also unable to release.
