I havent checked this thread this week but I'm glad you're back Alejandro. I have your first P1 mask and much like the other guys, you have made my Predator, one of my favorite figures. So far, not a day goes by where I dont sit there for a bit and just stare in awe of your mask.
In fact just this morning, usually before I go to work, I turn off the LED lights in the shelf...and before I turned off the shelf that has the predator, I actually just kinda sat there for a bit to admire it again
I am serious man. I'm just floored at how they look. The fact that you made a mask that blows away Hot toys speaks for itself. What I love about your mask is that the paintjob, the whole look, it looks metallic and in my opinion, look like something that came out of the movie, it really looks like a miniature version of the movie. I'm glad that you're back and please, do not by any means feel discouraged by your work. I've said this in several posts, your mask is PHENOMENAL. Thank you my friend and I'm glad you're back.

Hey guys I'm currently facing a dilemma and I'm wondering if all of you could give me any suggestions and/or advice.

I recently purchased the original Predator 1 HT for $430 from ebay about 2 weeks ago (it was my 2nd one from the same seller from HK). It basically didn't arrive as 'mint' as the first one as expected though. Here were the differences between the 1st and 2nd ones.

1st Predator :
-knee joints were loose and could easily be taken off so I had to push it in hard till i heard a 'click' on it but i still had to go easy on its movements since it could still be loose.
-overall was fine so it was still a great piece anyway.

2nd Predator (not as good as the first IMO) :
-there was no bone necklace around his neck at all (the spinal cord and animal trophies around his torso were still there)
-the leg joints were HORRIBLY loose in a sense that when I lifted the toy and have him lay down horizontally mid air, his legs would drop too.
-mask didn't fit as well as the first one, the top right part of his mask didn't touch his head as opposed to the top left side of the mask
-the leather belt wrapped around his chest pecs was slightly folded/crumpled causing the shoulder armor on the right to be slightly off place
-armor fitting on left forearm and left leg seemed to be in a rush to the point the net was crumpled badly and I had to adjust it myself.

Sorry I couldn't post some pics since the max attachment limit is 195 kb when those pics are about 400+ kb.

Anyhow, I tried my luck with HT customer service and they didn't really entertain seeing that it was manufactured more than a year ago and their policy doesn't cover my case.

So I went to my seller and he basically apologised and offered a full refund in return for posting the predator back to get another one off ebay from another seller or he said he could just pluck off his own pred necklace and send it to me (not sure if it's free but i think it is).

What do you guys think I should do? Should I send it back and buy it elsewhere off ebay or just save the trouble and just keep it and ask for the necklace instead?
Getting a full refund to actually get a predator in mint condition from another seller would be swell but it would actually take more time to do the research and there's a risk that I could still be disappointed again seeing that I am pretty particular and a perfectionist when it comes to this toy and I have a feeling that not every HT pred out there is perfect. Keeping it on the other hand would probably save the trouble of posting it back etc but then again I'd have to settle for something less than satisfactory I suppose. I'm not a modder nor do I customise toys so I can't really make the best of it even if I wanted to.

Personally, I'd just get the full refund. There's so many things wrong with what you got that it's not worth the price you paid for. And a free necklace won't alleviate the other things wrong with your item.

I share your opinion in part, iampoch, namely that for $430, if your figure and its box are not in perfect condition, we must say stop! What joints can be more or less loose, it is possible, but that it lacks an element such as the bone necklace, that is unacceptable at this price. I estimate that one should usualy send a figure, new, flawless, and that has been verified, when one request so much money!
Now, return to the idea of finding one another on the same conditions, is not won... No one can claim to read in a crystal ball...

$350 for P1 is a pretty good price. Yes, it's worth it.
