those are some awesome pics Snake! Love the outdoor shots. Can't imagine how much time it took to set up all those shots. We appreciate it!!

Thanks a bunch Reinhardt, Term, buddies!

Took a little while yeh, as I did not want my new beauty/ugly mf to fall, or lose Dutchs' stogie!! :D

(there is another set of 5 on the previous page too, in case you missed them)

I got my SS preauth.. and they have GOT to be kidding but its about $2 sort of $200. Something needs to be done about the shipping cost for these guys.

yeah, what's going on with that? When I check my invoice on SSC, they're only charging $7.86, with the total being $183, but then they just charged my CC an extra $12 ($195 total)

They did the same thing to me with the Iron Man Mark III figure, in addition to taking forever to ship it. In the end waiting an extra month-and-a-half only saved me about $8. I'll never order from them again.

Just so you guys know, preauths are always a couple dollars higher than actual shipping cost. Sideshow can't give the exact shipping price until they have the physical box to weigh and load into the system, so in order to make sure people have enough funds, they can rough the shipping cost and then make the preauth a few dollars more to give some breathing room.

The logic is, if an item should be around say $10 to ship, if they preauth $13-$15 dollars and the customer passes the preauth, then they'll be able to afford the item. If they preauth the $10 estimate and it passes but the actual shipping cost is $12, there is always a chance the customer can't cover that extra 2 so when it comes time to ship, it's a mess.

I don't like it, but I guess it makes sense.

It's really no big deal, it's not what you're being charged. The preauth is just to make sure you have more than enough funds on the credit card in your account to cover the cost of the figure plus shipping, so the preauth more than what your total will be, but what you are actually charged and invoiced when your item ships will be less than the preauth ammount.
