I felt like getting all my guys together. No fancy photog. Just a quick snap of the group. Some are in the middle of being modded, so they're kinda just cobbled together for the pic. A few I had to unpack for the occasion. Most of them I didn't bother to properly pose (BDP2, Elder and Borg are the only ones I already had posed), so forgive the lack of wonderful posture on most of them.

jeez. no wonder the p2 figures are $300. you people can't have just 1.

also, there's clearly some trick i'm missing to making the lost pred's dreads lay down like that.
i swear i've blasted that thing with a hair dryer and tried boiling hot water and left a rubber band over it all night.
and within a couple days, the dreads start bowing out again the way they were when i got it.

Same thing has happened to me - I'm curious what other people are doing to have them lay flat for more than 2 hours.

I've extensively modded the dreads. That's one of the mods I was talking about. I got tired of having to do the heat/cool thing all the time myself, so I took drastic measures. P2, BDP2 and both Losts have been dread modded. Gonna redo the first P2 though, because I found a better way to do it when I started on the BDP2. Prolly gonna end up doing it to all of my preds. Just looks so much better.

Alice, did you pull out the dreadlock, insert a small wire into the end of it as far as it would go, and then re-glue the dreadlock back into the head?

I once tried that with a Toy-Biz Mr. Fantastic figure, and it worked great for years. Unfortunately, because the rubber wasn't molded around the wire, but was actually putting pressure on the inside of the arm toward the outside, it eventually split. The wire wasn’t a big diameter,the wire you must be using has got the very small. So I was just wondering how are you even getting it in there.

I didn't wire them up the full length. There's only about a quarter-inch of wire actually in the top of the dread. Just enough to pose them so they lay flat up top, but the rest of the dreads are still free flowing.

I don't know where to post and ask this issue but since it's related to all hot toys predators, I'll take the chance maybe someone knows the answer on this thread.

I've taken photos of my elder pred and it's manual and noticed the biceps are reversed. Is this true to all predators released by Hot Toys?

How do I fix this? I tried pulling but stopped short of breaking it off. Is there an easy method how to pull off the bicep?

So it's not too out of topic...

I fixed a couple of my preds' biceps (P2 and Borg). As far as I can see all the P2 preds have the problem. Not sure about the AVPs, since I don't have them, but my Wolf and P1 seem to be fine.

Since there are no screws holding the biceps together to remove the only real way to do it is to break the glue seal that's holding the two pieces together, swap and reglue.

Hey! I was looking for a way around the process Alice used and found a way to fix the reversed biceps without cracking them open. I've documented them so I can share them with you guys. The process is quite easy and just needs a little patience to do and it won't take you more than 1 hour to complete.

Now I'll be fixing my P2 BD and lost pred after fixing my AVP elder pred.

Don't know if I should I make a new thread for it or just post it here.
