HT USCM Hicks Advice

Hi everyone,
I was just watching ALIENS and I noticed something. Hicks, throughout the entire film, has no sleeves! The Hot Toys figure does.
I am getting him very soon and need The Freaks' advice on rather I should cut them off, leave them, or is there and alternative the removing the sleeves without decreasing the value?

Nope, I'm trying to get a P2 and Celtic first.
Well, since I would see the joints, do you think that I could just replace the entire body with a Rambo body? You can't even see his joints!

It might be too big for the clothing that he wears. If the clothes will fit then go for it.

rambos body is way to muscular for hicks.
There are a few bodies that could be used though .
Can't think of a certain ones name but it looks great , I know stendec on here used it.
Do you have the figure yet ?. It has never actually bothered me. I wouldn't trim them , there rolled up high enough so at certain poses you can't see the joints a lot. Anymore though and they will be in full view.

I do not have the figure yet. But, if I can't have him screen accurate, then I don't even want him in the first place. I'll have to do some research and find a body of the same size without visible joints.

Rambo's body:

1. too muscular
2. not posable enough
3. Hicks' head won't fit - the joint is different

Do what I've seen most people do... Roll the sleeves up to the shoulder and be happy with the fact you didn't tamper with the figure too much!

Yeah, it's a great fig.You should get him. So what if the sleeves are there? You got plenty of other accurate things that make for it. I meant on Hicks.

I guess I'll just roll them up. Don't want to, but can't find another body. I was going to buy a spare Apone outfit to cut though.

Ok, I found a solution, but don't have the figure to test it. How about a Hot Toys Drake body? Would it work in compliance with all of the Hicks parts and accessories?
