HT USCM Hicks Advice

I reviewed him a couple of years ago, I said-

For all you purists out there, and I know there are a few, his shirt sleeves will seem a little long, as in the movie Hicks appears to be bare armed under his armour, so you'll either have to roll those sleeves up real tight (a shame as the tiny Colonial Marines patches that are applied will disappear) or if you are really brave just plain cut em off!

I went for the easy option , I picked up a second shirt and cut the sleeves off that . The bottom line is this , if you want screen accurate figures , you have to do some work . If you don't like to interfere with your figures , then live with the innacuracies . Luckily, the Movie Masterpiece figures cater for both groups of collectors , they still look great despite the innacuracies . I view my Marines as "model kits" and as such the starting point for a modelling project . I totally understand the collector who wants their figures just as they come from the box , I'm like that with my Star Wars stuff ( mostly!) .

You're right! Les Walker is the man to see for the BEST custom heads...in my opinion. I got my custom Hudson head from him, and I'll be getting the great "spikey-haired" Hicks head from him soon.
