I know, and I hesitated to post since this thread seems back on track, but Chris brought it up, so I figured it weighs on him. It it were me, I'd find it diminished the joy in being here. Over in Serang's thread, Serang and Chris have agreed to swap House heads. That's how I wish we clients could look at different interpretations. With enthusiasm, rather than as a horse race. We are really, really fortunate that this internet board has turned into a gathering of talented sculptors and access to them for people who want their work.

But you're right, the thread has moved on to clothes, and that leather jacket is too expensive for me, especially since he's not in it all that often. I've been noticing in reruns that he wore a black shirt with a black jacket a lot. And black, as we all know, is the color most likely to stain a figure. Hmmmm.

Yes, sir, you are correct! I'm not in this for some need to aggrandize myself, I'm in it for the fun! I've never been one to feel threatened by talented folk, rather, I feel invigorated by them. I love to see good work wherever I can find it.

Back in the days when I managed a stable of sculptors when I encountered such talent I didn't feel threatened or in competition, I hired them and put them to work!!!

So, enjoy the stuff you see here on SSF and the other forms.... you're not going to find it anywhere else.

Just to make sure I have this right Chris. I've ordered a painted head and cane, so all I have to do is use the "Painted House SPECIAL" button and that's it? What about shipping overseas? Was that paid for when I paid for the sculpt initially? Or will that sort itself out in the checkout procedure?

Yes, that's right. If you already paid for a head that was supposed to be painted by kuato just use the "Painted House SPECIAL" button. The shipping should be set to my standard domestic and international rates.

Yes, since none of the painting is paid for yet you'll need to go through that process. Just make sure to enter your screenname to help me match up new painting orders with the original head cast order.

The new way I'm processing orders through my website is a much more organized and streamlined way of doing things and all orders will be done this way from now on.

Hey Chris, I just noticed that the checkout procedure is trying to charge me for shipping. I had already paid the shipping cost, when I first pre-ordered the head. Is there any discount or work around on the shipping. Also, will you be painting the Star Trek heads.

Well, in your case then, since you had paid shipping that should have gone to Kuato, just send me the $35.00 for painting to my address [email protected].
But your case is unique! Everyone who didn't pay shipping for a painted head, which should be everyone else, should use the order page.

Not sure how the Star Trek heads will be painted yet. I'll update on the situation soon. But, not to worry, we'll get it worked out.

Yes, I'm starting to ship now. The unpainted heads are going out.

I was preparing to send the heads to Kuato for painting. I contacted him to let him know they were about to be shipped to him and that he should start taking payments. Unfortunately, that's when he informed me that due to some personal issues, he has had to cut back and would be unable to follow through on the painting like we had planned. So, I have the heads that need to be painted, still.

So, this solution will take care of the painting on the House heads. Since he hasn't accepted any payment for painting yet, I will need to do so now.

Chris, I initially was going to have Kuato paint mine, but I'd like to have Josh (small studios) paint mine instead. So you can ship mine to me, or directly to small studios. Whatever works for you.

Any chance we can see a painted House soon Chris? I'd really love to see what you can do with him before I choose to have you paint mine personally or go with another painter. I don't want you to take that the wrong way though! You're busy enough as it is with the sculpting I'd feel bad to burden you with more painting. You've already made a dream come true for me by making this sculpt to begin with. I've finally got all of my House clothing together so I only await the cane and head

Hey Chris, I paid $45, which was sculpt, cane, neck drill + shipping too, so if I have it painted up by you, do I need to go direct through your pay pal too? $35?

Oh, and as the necks being drilled out, are you doing them all the same or at the request of each buyer? I wanted my drilled for a Hot Toys neck peg. I cant remember if this was discussed or not. Sorry if it already has been.

I'm with Munch on this too Chris, so I'll wait a bit to have the painting done. I very much respect your talents and am completely satisfied with your House sculpt, though I do have some ideas of how the skin tone should look. I plan on using a tanner than normal TrueType body, since Hugh Laurie does have a tan complexion and would love to see your take on the paint job.
