I had the first paid order with Howes. Order #1 - two unpainted heads, and a cane. BUT I'm in Canada and could see it taking a bit longer to reach me so I will reserve my anger for a few more days.

You may have a bunch of friends here on the boards who will defend everything you say because you paint for them, but I think you are the one with issues. You and Chris will work well together in the future. You both love alienating potential customers.

Am I the only one who read the post by Small Studios saying I had issues? The guy likes to play these games with me for some reason. He posts in a thread digging at me and then disappears, waiting for his friends to get pissed off at me when I respond. And it gets ugly fast because he is a painter and I am just a "regular" member. Amazing.

In fact, the first time Small Studios ever talked to me, it was an insult. He later deleted the post so nobody would see it. You guys just think that came out of nowhere? He and I don't get along. What I really want is for Small Studios to ignore me, and I will do the same for him.

I just get tired of seeing five billion posts in every chris howes thread complaining right now. I think you've said everything that could be said, and more.. x10,000 by now.

i understand you want to be vocal, and i think that is good. While i don't think chris is gonna screw everyone over, i don't approve of everything he has done either. And having a vocal community is a good protection against fraud and theft. But there is a line, and i think it has been crossed. That's the same way i felt last week. This all just seems like childish pitchfork chanting to me. And now everyone is starting to bicker with each other, since chris isn't here. THAT is stupid.
I just wish everyone would calm down a bit and think a little before they post these insults at each other.

Brother, what is childish is the way we all act towards each other. Are we high school girls trying to be most popular, or men? I am just as guilty as the rest of you. But some people don't want to stop, so I have to ignore them.

Up until tonight I wasn't posting anything about Chris Howes. I think I actually had at least 72 hours under my belt. I will go back to being quiet, for your sanity. I can vent in some other way.

I've sent him a few PM's and he's great to deal with and very easy to communicate with. He seems to do right with his customers and I will be happy to send my business his way. Just my opinion and as you can see in this board, the opinion of many others. That just goes to show his reputation, since you don't develop friends and respect like that without having personable qualities.

I would have thought so too. I dig his thread. But for some reason, maybe he can explain, we got off on the wrong foot. I didn't want it to be like that, and I don't want it to be like that now. I don't want to get into it with him any more. If he doesn't like me, fine. I am not egging him on.
