Good job for first cab off the rank Chris. Thanks for getting it done and posted so quickly. It's hard to get a handle on such big pics. The gloss on the eyes and lips looks great. I think the eyes could be bluer.

What do you guys think?

Chris, as long as you're experimenting with pastels, try that method for the eyebrows. Hugh's brows are pretty sparse, which adds to the impression he's somewhat bug-eyed.

BTW, you nailed the fact that despite having a long face, his eyes are fairly wide-set. Can't wait to get my head and cane!

Upon further examination.. lol.. i think the eyebrows are a little too dark too. That might be what is throwing me off. His are pretty flat, and very light.. but the paint has them a little dark and peaking.. something to consider? That, with the eyes and the grey added would make this perfect to me.
But since i know you have some tweaking to do yet, i'm gonna go ahead and send off my payment to you asap, k?

EDIT: Ok! Just paid for the paint job without shipping. I had previously paid for the sculpt, neck drilling, and the painted cane plus shipping. So I just clicked the painted house special with no shipping. Did i do that right? Hope so!

For anyone who hasn't tuned in in a while, a quick update on the painting situation: Kuato, due to personal reasons, is unable to paint these as originally planned, so I'm offering my paint services to bridge the gap and I've discounted them to $35.00 for everyone for this head only. Here is the proto paint sample. I received lots of valuable input and will be making appropriate changes in the copies I'm painting for you.

I'd like to set up all the painted heads in an assembly line, so if anyone else wants on board please let me know ASAP! Thanks!

Just go to the purchase page: House and choose the button for "Painted House Special". If you haven't paid shipping yet because kuato was going to paint yours, choose "Shipping INT" from the pull down menu on the button for international shipping.

The good news is, everybody who wants me to paint theirs gets the discounted paint price, not just the first 10!

Hey everyone, I did this with Photoshop really quickly using some of the suggestions, what do you think?

Adjusted the hair color a little, and made adjustments on the eyebrows and the whites of the eyes.

Then what to me makes a big difference for the likeness I decreased the red on the lower lip, and made the indentation on his upper lip more prominent.
