Hey everyone, I did this with Photoshop really quickly using some of the suggestions, what do you think?

Adjusted the hair color a little, and made adjustments on the eyebrows and the whites of the eyes.

Then what to me makes a big difference for the likeness I decreased the red on the lower lip, and made the indentation on his upper lip more prominent.

Looks 10x better. Sculpt is starting to shine with proper paint (or in this case photoshop)

Looks good, but I think the beard is still too thick. The stubble is definately going to be the hardest part to nail with paint I think. But once done correctly, he'll be perfect.

Oh and Chris, I just want to confirm if you got my PM about sending mine off to Josh (Small Studios) for painting. Thanks.

Beard looks okay to me. That is about how thick it was in the finale. It's a very subjective qaulity with House.

Yeah, just FYI, everything I adjusted can absolutely be done by different paints. :)

I didn't smudge, nudge, resize, or anything like that.

The Photoshop tweeks definitely make the HS look better. Are you checking on this Chris?

Just saw that in the other thread, the more House stuff the better :rock

But this thread is about Chris' sculpt, not Triad getting the license.

I think the Triad license is awesome news. It will be a great compliment to the House customs we're currently working on. More House is better and we can always bash together the best of both worlds.

Well, I can't sell any Lee Majors heads until near the end of this month due to my granting the fellow who commissioned it a 6 month period of exclusivity despite the fact he has been recasting my Joker, Bruce Wayne, and Mad Max heads without authorization. I just don't understand how some people justify such behavior to themselves. :(

However, if you really want one, check back with me in 2 weeks! BTW, I already have a painted one if that's what you want. :D

Heck yea, that Lee Majors sculpt looks great. I'd be down with that.

Did similar quick edits on some other angles just for fun. :)

Sweet sculpt! :rock

Thinned out the stubble on these, but I think it looks better heavier IMO.

I think Chris has nailed the face... but there's something about the hair that's off a bit. Don't ask me what - I don't know. Just seems kind of not right.

As I said - face is a home run though.

Edit: might just need more blending so there are more highlights/shallows......

Costumeball, you've confirmed everyone's comments about the eyes and brows. This is a seriously good likeness of ol' Hugh. I like the way the beard is darkest in the "cupid's bow" between the philtral columns, because that's how it looks on the show. As for the hair, it's just waiting for some drybrushing with varying shades. Can't wait for this one! Congrats Chris!

Was there at the show speaking with Louie about a number of things when we started talking about some of the different licenses Triad is getting. Head is being reviewed hopefully for approval by Hugh Laurie. Louie didn't have an eta, but the house is confirmed.
