isnt this suppose to be 1/5 scale? how come it looks similar in size to the 1/4 version but with a smaller head.

Because it is massive. If you look through some collector's pics or the original com thread you can see pics of the PF and com together and they take up about the same space.

The Hulk in the comic is bigger then the one in the Avengers. In fact if I am not mistaken it is by a foot or two. That would account for the similar sizes. Also, in the comics they often use a smaller head to accentuate the more monstrous proportions (I.e. the smaller head with huge arms and legs).

I ordered the Green Hulk Comiquette EX when it first came out, but ended up canceling it because I couldn't get over the funny hair. This version was too awesome for me to pass on. This piece is going to end up being worth a lot of money.

Hard to say, between the green, red and grey versions, that is alot of Comiquettes out there. Already seeing the price of the green one go down.

Good point Spidey;)

Well he is one of my top characters of all time, and I have spent a lot of time studying how a lot of artists pull him off. Keown did amazing things with the Hulk's proportions, they weren't new ideas, other artists had done it before (Buscemia and Byrne come to mind), but I found that ever since he did them in the late 80s and early 90s a lot of guys have been further developing the concept. Paul Pelletier did an amazing job with the Hulk recently, and if you are not familiar with, and you consider yourself a Hulk fan, I highly recommend you check it out.

yeah it happens, i recall about 2-3 years ago the original green pf could be bought for just over $500. now look where he's at, and that was after he'd dropped down from the $7-800 range. i wanted to buy a bunch of them, but sadly no one would ship to canada.:monkey2

SS should have released this when they released the green, this one being the exclusive that it is.

It would not have lasted this long if they did.

that is very expensive to Australia, usps priority international is only $80 and that's with a retail account, i am sure ss gets significant shipping discounts, dont know how it ended up being $130+..

Yeah it's very expensive to ship to Australia but I've learn to deal with it.
If its a big piece like this one or spidey commiquette I expect it to be expensive. I'm just happy if its under $150 for postage
