Human Female raised by the Predators

Hi guys.

I've not posted on here before, but in view of the huge enthusiasm for all things Predator, I hope you like this thread on the sister site Statue Forum.

I know strictly speaking this isn't a Sideshow piece, but as a complete contrast to the Machiko figure from Hot Toys, I hope you find it interested.

The very first pic is the readily available Narin kit of a female predator (the one in the pic is sitting on my shelf).

The rest of the pics is the kit after it had a custom mod to my specs and far as I know has not been done like that before.

No, Machiko was never raised by Predators, from what I can tell this was just an idea the original poster had - the kit is female Predator made by Narin, with heavy modification to have the figure look human, rather than alien.

Well whoever modified it should have worked harder on the feet because if that's supposed to be a Human women her feet are GHASTLY!!!

Well c'mon.. technically it is. Even if that wasn't the intention, Machiko is a Human women who dresses up as and hunts with Predators. So any Human women in Predator gear will always be compared to her. So you're not wrong in that assumption. I think ANYONE familiar with the series would think the exact same thing.

I never said anything about the similarities. You asked if it was Machiko, and from what I gather from the original poster, who it belongs to, it wasn't meant to be her, considering the title is, "Human female RAISED by the Predators". Which the Machiko character certainly was not.

Yeah, I seen these Narin kits before. I hate that on his Preds he never sculpts the netting, in this case it makes it easier to make the pred look like a human though...except the feet.

Sometimes he does:

imo the reason Narin avoids sculpting netting is because unless it's painted PERFECTLY sculpted/painted netting usually looks like garbage. Plus without it sculpted, you can add your own REAL netting simply using black string.

Yes - pretty much a spot on reply AdamBombOi...

I always wanted to own a nice well sculpted female figure, but kitted out as if she was somehow raised by predators (pure fantasy) - the Machiko figure is an inspiraton only, but I didn't like the HT figure - so I decided to get a custom one modified to my own specs, i.e she had to have a leg tattoo, look lean and muscular etc.

Re the toesnails, agree they are not very "lady like" - BUT, if she is a human female raised by the predators, she will emulate their same style of nails (ie more clawlike finger nails and toe nails), as she does with her hair by having them in dreadlocks. But just a fantasy idea and well pleased with the result.

The original was a Narin resin kit. Here's a list of the mods that were done :-

(01) Remove all the predator lumps and bumps from her skin and make her skin human smooth
(02) Remove all the bumps from around the crown of her head
(03) Paint her dreadlocks a reddish brown to give the impression she is a fiery human redhead
(04) Adding a couple more dreadlocks, one across her chest to give a more sensual look
(05) Removing the claws from the back and sides of her feet
(06) Adding a 5th toe to both feet
(07) Re-positioning her right arm so it is lower and doesn't obstruct her bosom
(08) Removing her 'leather panties' making her look more sensual
(09) Painting in a female human skin tone
(10) Painting a tattoo from bottom of right leg up to stomach to give her a warrior amazonian look.
(11) Finally making the spear a tad more interesting by making it longer and adding a fews bits.

The whole piece finished cost me less than £100 (sterling) and a work colleague who collects female statues has offered me £250 for her, but I'd never sell her - for me she is a one off piece and I'd never get another one exactly like her.

Anyway, here's a few BEFORE pics, prior to her being painted. Reposing her right arm was a tad tricky, as was filing away her panties.
