Why can't SS change the edition? The whole edition thing sucks, they should release the edition on items 30 days after the item has shipped.

I think this will be a great piece. One of the few 'centerpiece' items that will draw attention no matter what else you have in your collection.

But $800 is a lot of money and will be a huge turnoff to a lot of collectors.

I held out as long as I could but, some unexpected expenses have just hit him pretty hard so this had to get the axe. I hope to have a shot to get this later on. It may cost me a cancellation fee since I had it on order with a dealer, I actually feel bad canceling.

Well I pulled the plug on this one, despite massive amounts of hesitation to do so. I really love this piece and scout troopers are probably my favorite armored troops in SW, but with tax and shipping in California it comes out to about $900. I wish dealers had received more of these; I'd snatch one up in a heartbeat if I could find it for a couple hundred dollars less. I just hope you guys are right about finding this later on for less money or I'm going to be kicking myself...

Don't worry dealers will be getting more. However, the percentage off has changed since these went up for sale. At best, they'll be 10% off retail.

If I could find one for 10% off retail from an out-of-state dealer, I'd be saving almost $150 right there. Tax is like $60 on this thing. Why does Sideshow have to be located in California?

I know Alter Ego has one for sale but it's at retail. If you are friendly with any of the dealers here just let them know that you're on the lookout for one as I'm sure there will be a couple cancellations, even from dealers. But I also think SS will be forced to offer more than the 1-2 they originally had to dealers when they have 500 of these sitting in their warehouse.

I had to cancel mine from a dealer. If you want I can tell you how to get a hold of him and he might be able to sell you mine. He wasn't sure when I ordered that he was going to get enough though, but its worth a try.

Well, it's cancel'd now I really didn't want to but with the items i received this past month and the items coming the next month i just can't afford it. Hopefully it will be up for second chance so i can get one on Flex-Pay.
