That could not have been any smoother! The new ordering system is pretty clever. Reduce page bandwidth rather than increase server bandwidth ... we don't need all the extra page features while ordering anyway. Congrats to Sideshow!

The piece looks fantastic too. And the accessory is great, I'd hate to miss it. My only complaint is the nameplate - unnecessary and distracting in my opinion. I'd have rather just had the rivets all around the circular base.

If mass production can keep pace with the proto, it should be a real winner.

I pre-ordered it though now looking at it closely dont know if I like it much or not, I don't like the round base, it should be a bit larger.

Plus, him pointing the arrow would have nice too, plus, don't know about the overall look of the piece, it did stun me as some of the Weta pieces have.

When you see this in person or more pics of him you'll see the base size is large enough. The PF's are huge, Lurtz stands 22in high!

I too would have prefered a more dynamic pose but for a relatively non-dynamic pose I think it is fantastic due to the fact that it appears to have been inspired by the scene where lurtz slowly strides towards Boromir to come in for the kill. Besides, I already have my U-H Scout posed in a flat out charge.
