I had an Epiphany !!! Sold all my Sideshow Marvels....

..to a toy dealer here in Montreal, yes even The Hulk PF....I'm going all Bowen as of now..The reasons : They display better,are detolf friendly, less expensive, more choice of characters, Bowen is not afraid to re-visit the same characters if a new sculpt is needed and now Sideshow distribute them for international customers like me.... The Planet Hulk imminent release was the final straw....Bowen gets my money from now on....



So long Sideshow and thanks for all the giant brown shipper boxes...

I thought about doing the same since the profit is so tempting but I always come to my senses.

Bowen is coming out with some VERY nice stuff. He has had to step up his game because Sideshow's scale and detail is stunning. Keeping up with Bowen is no easy task either. You got museum versions and action versions of characters. You got more variants to deal with if you like a character that lends itself to it. You got busts. You got faux bronze. Display space will eventually become an issue just the same as Sideshow. Unless you like a more steady flow of product instead of waiting months for the next Sideshow announcement Sideshow is where is at for me for the most part.

Sideshow has the definitive versions of Doom, Hulk, Cap, Thor, Red Skull and, for what it's worth, Namor. Iron Spidey fits well with the Avengers theme they got going. What happens when they release Daredevil, Silver Surfer, Black Bolt, Black Widow, Ms Marvel or Abomination (for those Hulk fanatics)?????

Bottom line: it is Sideshow's line to mess up. Bowen can't take away the lead. As long as Sideshow has Pablo and the Gore Group there really is no reason to quit Sideshow Marvel for something else in my book. Now, if those guys left I would seriously consider quitting the line.

Either way, I see your logic and you do whatever really makes you happy I agree Bowen is DEF stepping up their game, but I'm not so sure that ridding your whole Marvel collection won't haunt you a bit Answer us back soon!

What did he give you for them? Why wouldn't you offer it here for going rates and to help out the freaks rather than a toy dealer who is probably going to undercut the prices to make his own profit on resale?
