I ordered 4 things off ebay. 2 were from China. 1 was from Malaysia. 1 was from Canada. They were all shipped on the 11th.

I got all the 3 pieces from China/Malaysia this week. I am still waiting for the one piece from Canada.

I could never understand why people in California can get Christmas cards from me quicker than people in my own state or next door in Pennsylvania. :dunno

I sent an item to New York and one to Australia. Both first class USPS and the item that I sent to Australia got there first.

Mail is weird.

I know one thing i kept hearing about that goes on in the US and never seem to hear about it here in Canada is that when recieving a delivery in the US, if you are not there or in some cases you are, the delivery driver just throws your ____ on your door step or lawn etc and screws off, never happens here as far as i know, we have to accept it personally or it goes back on the truck and to a local post office outlet for pick up,photo ID required.

If there is no signature required and it won't fit in your mailbox, they can leave it at your door if you have a porch or someplace to put it, if not they usually leave a note and you have to pick it up at the PO. They aren't suppose to just throw it somewhere. I think there was a few delivery people who made the news throwing things over fences, but those were FedEx and UPS guys, not USPS workers.

Myself and others i know that have had deliveries, never had the driver leave parcels on the property that did not need signature, they always seem to just leave a tag informing the parcel was there and can now be picked up at the end of their shift or the following day, UPS might do a repeat delivery and i think Fedex but, UPS are the most hated locally it seems by fellow friends and collectors.

Wow that's almost the exact same thing that happened with me. Two ebayers bought something from me; one package sent to NY and the other to New Zealand, and of course the one in New Zealand got his first.

The lady that gave me the original quote for $19 something is known to skrew up so i thought about writing a personal complaint about her since I'm sure she gave me a f-up quote. but then I thought if she's sometimes undercharging people then it's canada psot that's loosing money and that's ok with me. so by not doing anything I'm actually getting revenge.

Hay friends one of my friends is in Canada for some work Can anybody tell me any Local Comic Shop name where i can get rare statues for local pick up

I'm sorry what was that drunkie?. :p

I can understand deliveries taking longer in the US since there are far more people living there= bigger delivery routes taking up most of a workers shift=longer wait for mail and more chance of delays and shipping errors.
