If you bought directly from SS, they will be more than willing to help you out. If you bought from a dealer or eBay, maybe not so much. But they do have some of the best customer service in the business, a major part of what keeps me loyal to them.

Give them a call! They rock. :D

... from returns/replacements department she did not even read what I wrote she had no idea about what I was trying to describe.
..

Again, what did you say and what were you told? I highly doubt Jaclyn or any other member from that (or any) department don't "know" what they are talking about.

They are THE BEST.

Hi thorskywalker! One of our customer service representatives will be able to best help you with any questions and concerns you have regarding your Diorama, so please do contact us at your earliest convenience. As LaMelnik said, you can contact us through various means...

Call:
U.S. Toll Free: (800) 474-3746
Int’l Ph: (805) 214-2100 ext. 2
E-mail:[email protected]

Or through our live chat feature found at the top of our homepage during our business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM Pacific Time).

I do not whine.. I saw how big geeks they are when I received that email reply from someone who is from returns/replacements department she did not even read what I wrote she had no idea about what I was trying to describe.

I did not start this thread for you guys criticising me or making fun of me. I am not a native english speaker so half of you guys are just enjoying the situation by quoting the wrong words I chose to describe the situation. Thanks to the other half who sincerely tried to help..

See? I rest my case. Yet another whiny post about why you aren't calling them. I know you didn't start this thread to be made fun of. You started it to whine, which is all you've continually done despite the sound advice. CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WILL HELP YOU!

What other language do I need to type that in, so you get a clue? :dunno

And just in case you missed it:

I'm gonna try live chat if I ever have another problem. I'm phone shy, and therefore a tittybaby.

I did not buy this directly from sideshow but the problem is a production defect. I know they don't have to help but I just need a replacement part not the whole diorama. Can I still call them?

please delete this thread.. I talked to someone on livechat.. she told me they dont have any replacement parts and they dont keep returned stuff because of space limitation in their warehouse.. there is literally nothing they could do.. but the representative really tried to help..

for people who accused me of whining and making excuses not to call etc.. I am in Europe, there is a time difference, I was working, and this place is really hostile.. I have been made fun of, for my english, I have been made fun of for whining.. and everything..

this thing is supposed to be a hobby, bringing together like minded people.. I truely believe some of you guys are rude and impolite.. I will try to delete my registration, if I can not do that mods please delete it for me.. this is the kind of place I would not want to stop by again..

Stop whining! These guys/gals have THE BEST customer service out there. Call GentleGiant, they won't even respond/reply.

On a serious note...Thorskywalker, there's no need to quit this board. Several people here tried to help you out with advice which you seemed to ignore. There are some cool people here...some even posted here.

If you're gonna post in forums on the interwebs you'll need to grow a thicker skin and not take everything you read to heart. Just say'n.

I know a lot of the "old guard" people on her can be jerks to the new guys sometimes (and sadly it seems to be getting worse lately) but if you had just said this in the begining it might have helped. Or you could have just said "Thanks, I'll call when I get a chance" instead of just repeating that you can never get a live person.

when i buy something from a store and its broken i return it to where i bought it from. i think I learned that in my junior year of university. you will get there one day, its in the class after learning how to wipe your own ass.

If I could close this thread I would. Thank you to those who offered advice and to the rest of you who have nothing better to do with your time than ____ on a new member :pfft:
