Nice, I'll be sure to pass that on to him.

(He designed the original Medal of Honor for EA, then Activision commissioned his production company to create something to compete with it, so they came up with the original Call of Duty... yeah, you're right, he's an idiot ;) Probably he's just more into first person shooters, although he really loves World of Warcraft. Who knows, but it's his Wii, so if I want to play Zelda, I'm gonna have to find somewhere else to do it :lol)

Cool Dusty! I don't like WoW - I don't find it interesting at all. I'm kinda bored when I'm playing it, almost like a last resort if I don't have anything else to do. But anyway, it's not a bad game. And CoD and MoH is really good games if you're into FPS'...

I bought some games already from Best Buy (to take advantage of double rewards points before x-mas), now I just need to find a system :monkey1

Heh, that kinda reminds me of when I bought the Alien Legacy box (20th anniversary edition) back in 2000, even before I had a DVD player...

We had a singles tennis tournament with 10 people and I came in second. I also came in second in bowling. The secret to bowling strikes seems to be to roll it as hard as you possibly can - no wonder people are breaking their TV screens :lol

...

How good that I can't challenge you, for geographical reasons ... !

I would probably lose anyway if I did...!

Wow, that would be totally awesome! Is this true?? Dude, I DO NOT need to buy this stuff!!! Stop telling me all the cool things. *earmuffs*

man, Im gonna have to pick one of these up now.

I used to play games alot, but now about 95% of my gaming is only when friends come over and we all get really buzzed up and play multuplayer games.
which seems like the Wii's specialty from what Im reading everywhere.

There will be online play for future games, but right now nothing is announced. Which is good for you guys because you're safe from the wrath of my mad kabuki powers for now.

Hey Dusty! Tell him Call of Duty rocks! Did his company have anything to do with CoD 3?

You'll love it in that case. The Wii is my favorite system out right now for precisely that reason. It promotes social gaming with friends. It's so much fun to drink a few beers and go bowling with friends in the comfort of your own home. And it's not THAT hard to get- I've gotten 3 without ever standing in line or searching very hard.

I just bought a 360 tonight (w/ free Gears of War and Call of Duty 3- Thanks Toys R Us!), and the graphics are amazing. The gameplay pales in comparison to the Wii, however. Maybe I need to play Gears some more, but it seems kinda repetitive and boring. It's all about the gameplay. Actually, I'm playing Gunstar Heroes on the Virtual Console more than anything else right now.

You need to play it more for sure. GOW is hardly boring! Probably the most addicting game I've ever played between the Single, Co-Op, and multiplayer I've played my butt off when I've had the chance to play. The Wii looks fun but I can't imagine it having better gameplay than the 360.

You know what I hate on all the other console games? All the gosh-darn buttons! I just can't get used to what they all do... that's because I didn't keep up with them as they progressed probably. The last time I really played games a lot was back with the original Nintendo system and the original Play Station. Now I look at those controllers and I'm like WTF?? I like the Wii because it hardly has any buttons :lol

Or the original Pong from Atari. Just a couple of knobs.:lol
hey I used to have a full-size arcade Pong console when I was growing up.
and man I wish I still had it.

And that's what Nintendo exactly had in mind when designing the Wii. They wanted you back playing games again! Yay Wii!:D

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I'll have to look at the Wii, I'm also put off by all the buttons on other systems. When trying a demo in the store I can't make the darn thing do anything!

Which one was that. One of my friends had the one that directly hooked up to your T.V. that had the controller for both people with the two knobs. Despite the fact that I had been playing Nintendo, that thing still was pretty fun to play.

it was a full console stand up just like in an arcade with 2 knobs on the board.
I used to have to stand in a chair to play.

its funny how lame it became as video games progressed and I have no memory of what happened to it.
but I know I wish like a mutha I had it now.
