Nice hint and nice pressie.

Danny was just saying $100 for Christopher Lee's sig was chump change. This has got to be chumpier change than for one sig hey? :lol

don't wanna rain on your parade but... there was a thread on forged sigs a month or so ago... I have an E. Wood sig that I collected myself and yours looks a bit off...

And most of those sigs look about the same size, isn't that remarkable?

Also, how many scripts did the cast sign? I hope you realize that there's about 4 of these sold every month.

And I bought a poster with 40 sigs from cast and crew that came with a COA from New Line. A little investigation on my part and I found out that both were forged. Unless there is a pic of that item being signed I wouldn't trust any COA. Most of these COAs state if you can prove it is inauthentic, you will get your money back. How do you prove that? Very hard.

Ness,
Congrats on the Birthday, and having bought a "signed" item on ebay myself, complete with a certificate of authenticity, I would be skeptical too. I have learned to appreciate any autographed item as a novelty, more than an actual autogpraph, so I hope you don't feel stung, but I would be a little hesitant about the authenticity too.

I know it is very risky... I did compare the Peter Jackson signature I have on my litho and on the auction and it looks exactly the same.

Hmm.. It's said before but your Elijha Wood sign looks of!!!

Doesn't look anything like mine, and I'm possitive that mines not fake..

I would be carefull ness..

I recently just paid that for an Orlando Bloom autograph on its own.

The dealer I use, told me that if he signs his full name that its one of the rarer, earlier ones as he only signs his autographs OB now.

congrats Nessasita!!! to be honest who here actually signs their name exactly the same EVERY single time. i know i dont, but regardless if you like it thats all that matters. im still trying to track down all the sigs. from ROTS on my movie poster (so far only 5)

Whether its authentic or not, I'm sure it will look great in your TV room or wherever you decide to put it. :D

Exactly, for $150 it's a great conversational piece.

Ness knew exactly what she was doing.

Congrats Ness, it will looked good framed on the wall of our bedroom.

I bought it because I think it is great and I will not sell it... I have not sold anything of my collection and will not do that either. And you know... I just still have to believe that there is some good in this world... so that there are some honest people out there too you know :D And indeed not even my own signature is twice exactly the same...

Well, I just want to say again happy birthday:fest and hearty congratulations:fireworks . I purchased a signed "Serenity" script, and even if the signatures aren't truly authentic, the script still means an awful lot to me! :D I hope the doubting thomas vibe of the thread doesn't take away from the birthday wishes!:happybday
