I just realized something about HT's video game line

The guy's in charge probably just enjoy movies more than games so they focus their attention (and attempts to get licences) towards movies. The Resident Evil 4 figures did alright for them (well, the Leons anyways) and no doubt the 5 ones will be a big hit. I'm sure after those come out, they'll be putting more effort towards videogame licences.

I'd be down for a whole batch of Metal Gear ones but I'm thinking Medicom is going to cling to that licence so hard, maybe Mass Effect would tide me over.

I think Elena has the potential to be a boring figure, unless they did her in her "snow outfit" from Uncharted 2. Chloe would make for a better figure since her outfit, weapons, etc, imo.

Sully would be dope though.

Why do you have to ruin my dream meanstreak?

I suppose your right. I'd probably prefer her in her outfit from Drake's Fortune if I had a choice. I'd try to make a custom if I could find the clothes and get a good headsculpt. She's my favorite character, so I don't see her as boring, but I guess the average figure collector might.

You should bombard HT with adding Uncharted to their VGM line on their Facebook page. I have mentioned it and a few people have too. You never know.

I just made a comment on somebody's related post on their page. I'd love them to continue the line with Uncharted.

Regarding the anime figures, I don't know that that is a market Hot Toys could do so well with. I'm sure their figures are fine, but Medicom, being the master of the cartoony figure, has anime figures that look about as good as they could (and as good as Hot Toys could do, IMO). The bodies are crap next to the True Types, but given that they can't do much better in the appearance department, I don't know if it would be Hot Toys' time to invest in those. Hot Toys is best at detailed, realistic looking figures, and I think it suits them to stick to that from a cost-benefit standpoint.

Fixed it for ya. :D

Don't need no Snake wannabe as an HT figure.

Dude come on. Let's not turn this into the timeless debate over Fisher vs. Snake because we all know who wins. Fisher would roll a grenade under that stupid little cardboard box he hides under hehe...

But hey, at least we agree that Uncharted figures need to be made, like yesterday!

Am I the only one who would like HT to make the DOA girls in 1/6th scale? Though they'd have too make certain "enhancements" to the Hot Angel bodies for a few of them to be accurate.

You'd need your stand for them.

save for the recent medicom Chun Li? don't think so.

There's so many good game characters, including those already mentioned, I don't know where to begin.
Personally, Cate Archer would kinda float my boat - certainly not my most wanted, but it could sure come with a wicked amount of accessories...

Yeah, whatever happened to the Medicom SF line? Was it just Chun Li or will we see other characters?
