I just canceled a bunch of stuff I had on order and man it felt good.
Has anyone ever done that and just felt that much more liberated?

...when I decided not to collect anymore 12" figures
Yeah, I think sometimes it's very easy to get swept away with this hobby, especially if you are a member of these boards. All you have to see are some good pics in a thread and it's over for your wallet.
Canceling things feels great because it feels like you are taking control. I think Toe said above that he felt this way when he got out of 12" figures but to be honest, that is mainly what I am keeping.
I came into this hobby only liking those because they were cheaper and you could actually play with them. Now I feel like I am taking a step back to focus on why I originally began. I am just having more fun with action figures and my wallet couldn't be happier.
I am pretty much stepping back and going back to collecting what I used to, movie posters. They are a lot cheaper and don't take up as much space.

with all the stuff ive sold in the past couple of weeks, it is definitely liberating.
I was just talking to a friend on how addictive it is once you sell that first valuable piece.....then you look at some of the others and see nothing but dollar signs. I love it.
I think I'll be keeping my MR stuff, but the figures and statues and busts are going to start getting axed.
I'm moving right now and seeing all the stuff I have made me cancel some things too. Mostly stuff like Tonner Marvels and things I'll never display like Stealth Iron Man, but I really need to cut down.
