I canceled quite a bit of stuff also recently. I had to. I had a minor disaster occur at my house (needed a new water pump, tank, etc.) and cost us almost $4,000.

So, when things in real life come up unexpectedly, it kind of puts collectibles in the proper perspective.

All I have on pre-order right now is the Gandalf the White P.F. and that's about it. I sold off all my GG LotR busts and canceled the ones I had on order. Canceled quite a few SS pieces and sold off all non LotR p.f. pieces.

It does feel good when you cancel and cutback on collecting. I was out of control the last couple years, and, I think I have finally gotten control over it.

And, that's a good thing.

Sometimes I feel like I always start support group threads for addicted collectors. :lol

Either way Agent23, I am glad you have gained back your control and reset your priorities. Same thing has been happening with a bunch of us on the forum I think. I also believe it's a good thing. :)

It's definitely a liberating feeling to cancel items when needed. It's been a constant thing for me especially when the case of space and money is concerned.

Right now, I've been lucky to not need to cancel anything so far, as I have budgeted space and money to afford what is coming. But if anything in RL comes up that needs addressing first, then it's time to start looking over that pre-order list and start pulling the trigger.
