Have you considered an Omega with Sovereign skins ? Its got the right build and the skins would solve the joints.

I really don't have an issue with the joints on the EVO,
but if the skins look really good, I may use them.

These are one set of skins, he does variations, muscle etc. I have the muscles also just havent found a decent application for them yet

the last few weeks and is behind.

Just wanted to give everyone an update.

Well, I have 6 full figures completed and we're still just waiting on
the head. Erick Sosa has not gotten back to me for almost 2 months.
I was getting worried, so I poked around.

Looks like he's just to busy with
his statue work(day job) to get back to us lowley 1/6'ers..

At least everything must be alright with him and his family. He was
sick for bit, as well as his new baby.

But recently he's been posting over on statueforum.com a lot.
He's doing some nice work for Kotobukiya.

I hope he comes back? This will never get completed if he doesn't.
I don't want to start from stratch with another sculptor.
So I will be emailing him through statueforum.com as well.

He's a great artist and that's why he's
in demand. But this sculpt has been in the works for many months.
Perhaps more demand for it will give it the push it needs to get completed. Maybe anyone interested in the figure or sculpt
can post in this thread. Then I will start a list and email him the results. Maybe that will grab his attention back to 1/6 land...

At this point, I'd take any help I can get.....
I'm not saying Erick should leave his day job. Just perhaps remember us
little people to, before he becomes super big time.

I'm going to now curl up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep.

Alas, he just emailed me and it's not looking good.
He said no more commission work, said he
is contracted by a major company and doing statues straight threw the rest of the year.
Said if he had any extra time, would try, but no promises. Said most likely, if it was
to be done, it would be done just for him to sell. So that means I would have no input on how the sculpt
turns out. But I guess a Sosa Van Zan sculpt is better than not. It just wouldn't be an IKE-CON only thing.
Sculpts would be just up for grabs at whatever price he decides to sell it at and when they're gone, they're gone.

So, I'm at a crossroads.
I don't want to start from scratch with another sculptor.
But it sucks not having any input or date it would even be made by.
After spending all the time & money to get everything ready for
the figure release, I now have no solid ground to stand on.

He's a great artist and I'm happy he's hitting the big-time. I just wish he kicked out the sculpt
before this all happened. I understand he's got a family and he needs to be thinking of them.
And the little 1/6 projects are not a big money maker for him. But just perhaps he should remember
the little people to and the reason he does this to begin with.....the creative love. No, that's
not fair to him, I'm sure he has the love still, just real life comes first.

damn it does that mean this project it defunct? The work you've done so far looks exceptional take a few weeks and see if you can find another sculpter there are plenty of talented peeps on here

i know you dont want to go with another sculptor but at this point seems like that is the only route. you could try sunhoc or even xenoviper for this...........among others but i've been real impressed with their sculpting skills.
