I don't know. I think there would be. No need for a signature editon on it obviously. Maybe you're right about there not being a big demad since Vader's Tie is there already, but I know I'd buy it.

That's too bad as they seem to do some really nice stuff. I just got into them ( Tom's fault ) so I am late in the game, but at least the ones I want a re still there to be had even though they are not on the cheap side.

Could any AT-AT be better than MR's. I saw one for under $1000 shipped a few days ago. I'm so glad I have no where to put it, but that thing is amazing looking.

Bad news. I just talked to my friend in England and he said that he didn't ship it yesterday because lovely Fed Ex wanted over $200 to ship the damn thing. So he's going to shop around with a few other options but if it's going to cost that much, I may just wait and have him bring it over in September, that way I don't have to pay any shipping.

Not sure, but I love the $60 to ship. My Falcon was $30 to ship. The Tie I am going after is also $30.

That one was auctioned off at Comic Con last year at the Code 3 booth. I looked at it on display and entered, thinking it would be cool to own X-Wing #0001. Apparently, it's cooler to sell X-Wing #0001.

And I have had to pay $60 in shipping for my Code 3 vehicles with the case. Both boxes shipped at the oversized rate at around $30 each. Even though the cover wasn't that heavy, it was charged at the 30 pound shipping rate because of the size of the box. So they might not be ripping the buyer off as much as we think.

I am not a fan of dramatic over charges for shipping either (show of hands for those who are ). But as you stated this isn't really much for both boxes, any extra can cover the PayPal fees. With PayPal and eBays fees what they are, a "handling" charge isn't too much to ask (as long as it is in moderation). Of course if you don't like it, don't bid.

I'm not surprised at all. People in the US just have no idea how exorbitant UK shipping prices are - I don't know how anybody in the UK manages to sell anything abroad at all. I sell on ebay from time to time and I'm always shocked when I sell a piece that I had shipped from the US for about $40 to find that it will cost at least 3 times that to get it back there.

Using UK Parcelforce is no cheaper than the couriers. It costs approx $190 just to ship the X-Wing itself via air parcel post, and that's without any tracking or insurance!

Loki, it might well be cheaper to ship the item yourself via Fedex US by paying at your end and having them pick up in the UK for you. Certainly if you know somebody with a Fedex business account, it will be cheaper for them to do that.

regarding UK prices, you are totaly right,
last year I was in UK for surfing in newquay and on the last day I was in forbiddenplanet for shopping and the prices were like 2 times more than you can find in ebay. needless to say, I just buy some books, comics, HC's etc and a kotobukiya vader as it was in sale at that time.
Even a small bottle of water is 2 $ in London and I really have difficulty to understand the price difference there

Jusy got my Darth Vader Tie from Play but its not the signature edition(though the description on the site is).Its still really cool and will lokk great against the Sig X-Wing.
