I'm going with an updated look, but staying true to the aspects of the original figure. Not sure which version you're talking about though. Even the SB Commander and Paratrooper Con exclusives had sleeves.

The one in the Steel Brigade Vs Plague Troopers six pack. 2 have short sleeves, the third one has no sleeves at all.
