Heres some of my customs ive done in the last couple of months. These are my first tries at the 1/6 scale and now im hooked. I did plan on doing clone trooper but once i started doing Boba Fett i dicided to do bounty hunters and aliens as there really cool to look at once completed. Im going to have a go at doing Friday from the 2000AD comic Rogue Trooper in the 1/6 scale as this guy aint ever going to get a figure and he's my favorite comic book chracter.
Ive been looking at other members custom since i decided to start my own and there all a great source of inspiration and can only hope that i get my own one up to these standards with alot of pratice.

Heres my 1st real attempt at a clone trooper. Thought i start off with the basic grunt ep2 trooper. I wanted to make him some accesories like you would get if sideshow made one. I made both blasters the smaller one is a copy of the rots 12 inch trooper gun and the longer rifle is a Koto and hasbro aotc hybrid which i tried to get accurate but is still about 5mm short, also made a poncho from the opening of th clone wars cartoon and the driod scanner, i made this smaller than appears in the cartoon as it looked lame when i copied it. Got a clone commander up next and if any one those how to make the visor like the film would be some good advice. The photos are a bit bright but he does have more battle damage than appears. If you click on them there better quality. The star wars stands are all from my sideshow figures

Yeah hasbro armour with a copy of the helmet from a clone bust i think

That Clone looks great Ian ! ( I'm a bit Clone obsessed at the moment , I've got 2 ROTS versions on the go as we speak ), can I ask what bust did you use for the helmet? The Bounty Hunters are looking good as well , I'm waiting on a Dengar figure to customise myself !

Ian, amazing clone trooper!
I would love to try my hand at that, but I am really new to the 12 inch sideshow figs and wouldn't even know where to begin.
I understand that the armor is from a Hasbro ATOC clone trooper, and the body underneath is a Dragon. But how did you get the Hasbro fig apart? Does it have a black bodysuit underneath? The helmet is from where? What are all the parts I need to make one like that? And finally, how did you make the weapons?
Sorry if it's bad form to ask such specific questions about your recipe, but I don't have a clue where to begin and I'd love a couple of those guys flanking my Jedi!

Update with my latest customs. The E-3PO was suppose to be C-3PO but i could not paint gold the way i wanted so i made him white which i always liked the look of. The arms on both the droids have been shortened so they dont look so gangly. I put the biker scout on a dragon body so he looked cooler on his ride and added a bit of paint here and there. Im going to do Bossk next and have a go at redoing dengar so that a the executor bounty hunter a complete and then have a go a vader which ive been hording parts of for ages.

Thanks for all the comments, always appreaciated. Heres what i was going to call General Veers but ill do a Kenner and call him AT-AT Commander with his generic face and a Impearial Technician/Speacialist.
