katkuru The imperial gunner was not that difficult, first time i have dyed something and spraying the boots and gloves black with a leather belt i was lucky enough to have but can't find anymore of the same kind which i need for an imperial officer.

Garindan or long snout. Made this guy to go with my 3 man sandtrooper sqaud which im going to start soon, surprised he turned out as good as he did.

I should update this more often, i found my thread on page 7 that almost oblivion.

Got some more troops to add, a 3 man marmit sandtrooper squad. I wanted to have all 3 pauldren colour and since SSC made 3 endor troopers i figured that a good number to start a squad at. Kept the orange guy clean cleaner because hes the boss and added a lewis gun from the SSC lewis gunner and the cool rifle with the barrels in the middle is a custom with the 2 scopes added.

WOW :chewWOW what a great set, I take it these are all marmits apart from the obvious (DOH read your previous post) ? Got myself a white pauldron one recently but Id like it clean not the crappy weathering on it currently, want to respray but im worried

I had to hairdryer heat the parts to get them on in the 1st place so worried about heat and paint from a respray if I need to heat them again

Asked Hurricane about how he did his (his was weathered professionally after he cleaned them) and he said cleaning them up with a cleaner was a royal pain, and wasnt brill for the finish but as he was re-weathering so he wasnt that concerned, I on the other hand just want a clean one although your weatherings great - I ant got your money for 3 marmits he is gonna have to stand next to a hasbro - Tomy mix on a BBI g3.5 and thats a respray

I have wanted a Marmit Sandtrooper for years and your collection makes me jealous as hell! Awesome figures and photos too!!!! Ive been droping hints to the missus for a Marmit TD for Xmas, they look very accurate but still have plenty of scope for customising, which I love doing.

Did you strip the original dirt and re-apply your own? It looks nicer than the stock weathering I have see on others. If so, how did you remove the original weathering?

Yeah. I only ever got the Marmit Boba Fett, so seeing any decent true 1/6 Stormtrooper makes me all crazy!
