Erm.. why do the non screaming sculpts looks different in both pics when it’s the same sculpt?…

You are completely right, I wasn't sure myself but now that you've pointed it out, they look like two different sculpts?

What do you all think?

I am a really big fan of the book and the movie. Having seen how well Ryu turned out, my hopes were/are pretty high.

Mine should be in within 10-15 days so we will see once in hand, can't wait

who did the painting ??

already got a dino tie waiting for bateman but I'm hesitant to even go forward

thats what i kinda fear but i think the clothes are just poorly futzed and dressed but hard to tell how it is until we see more. hopefully wh will have pictures

I really actually like the headsculpt and the paint app…but c’mon guys. If I were you, I wouldn’t have used a sculpt for the promo shots that has roots of the hairline unpainted/skin tone -_-
If that’s the quality control they have for blogger/promo pics, what sort of quality am I getting in the mail? :/

also going to pass on this figure , just liked the screaming sculpt but other than that I think is a complete No for me , maybe if I can get only the sculpt Ill make a kitbash

I'm 50/50. The neutral headscuplt doesn't look the best. The screaming sculpt is phenomenal and is the only display option for me, so i don't really mind the other head being meh

Ok so i just remembered this figure is 430 AUD. i really can't justify it after looking at big bredas review. One head sculpt being meh isn't good enough at that price. But breda noted that it looks different in different lighting so I'm willing to see a little more in hand reviews before i pass on it

Colossus only gets to the heads in the last two minutes of the review. It seems more time was spent on packaging and accessories than ensuring the crucial element was nailed.

'Good enough' leaving the factory doesn't cut it anymore, especially with so many companies jumping in now officially and unofficially.

The likeness is lost under heavy and dull paint. Bale's appearance doesn't jump out at you, added to the gimmicky magnetic heads and how they sit on the neck make this a pass.

I hope so too! Looks like review videos are starting to roll out. I like the magnetic neck & some of the other things that seem ambitious, like the display stand. Tailoring could be a bit better, but I’m still hoping to see a better lit video or pics of the headsculpts. Lemme know your thoughts when you get a chance!

I'm a fan of the film so I was considering getting this myself and I am glad I held off from ordering when Kit put this up. The price was really surprising. From what I understand this is a licensed release but the 3rd party figures I saw look a lot better at a fraction of the cost. Asking Hot Toys money for this is simply embarrassing.

The screaming head is the only thing that really interests me here. The neutral head looks pretty meh. I think iminime done a better job with their AP neutral sculpt
