If SSC Were to Make a 1:6 Scale Ewok or Chewbacca.....

I'm wondering if SSC were to make any 1:6 scale Ewoks or the rumored 1:6 scale Chewbacca, will they have hair on them or will they be like Hasbro and have hard plastic? I hope they use hair because that's what the characters actually had..

I'd like hair if it can be done right but I would also take a nicely sculpted piece as well.

Faux fur and real hair are two different ballparks. Here in America, using real animal fur would not go over well with the public. Dealing with these types of materials is very difficult, and if SideShow hasn't done it yet I'm sure there's a good reason,(PETA? Yeah, I'm a member!) I'm also confident that when the time is right and the technology is there to make real flowing and looking hair, SideShow will be there.

Until then we have a very cool looking Wicket from Medicom.

If they cant yet figure out how to do a figure with a little bit of armour like Vader then I think a furry ewok or Chewie is just a pipe dream. Hell even Medicom cant do it as their wicket is vinyl.

Where in the hell did you here a rumor of a 1/6 Chewy? Not more then 3 months ago Sideshow said there will be NO 1/6 Chewy, they dont want to make a scuplted one and a fur one will just not work in a full production run, or something like that. Basicly NO 1/6 SS Chewy
