So I just received my Dioder LED strips and I'm pretty dissapointed. The description said 'White LED" but they are more of a yellowish tint. Anyone have suggestions for good White LED's?

High Power LED Flexible light strips

I just got my test setup & they work great. Available in cool, neutral & warm shade of white (avoid the WARM color temperature, that's the yellowish tint). I'm getting some more in tomorrow to modify my Master Lighthouse cases but at first test IMHO they're going to work perfectly. Easily adaptable to any display case.

I just bought my Bestas! Did you drill a hole for the cords?

yes. Up near the top to the rear. Through the fiber board. Not through the thick sides. Also, if you go the same route. Go buy some balsa strips and spray paint them black. Then angle your lights. I also put a sliver of balsa painted black in front of the lights to block any glare because they are so bright the can detract from the piece. If that makes sense.

Makes perfect sense! Thanks for the tips, I can't wait to have everything set up. I have to buy two more cases!

They make a triangular balsa strip at your local hobby store. It should work perfectly as far as angle. Then just use double sided tape on the strip and then to mount to the top. Then I used gorilla glue on the piece that attaches to the front to shield the light.
