It would be fun to play games on that, but it's also cool because it actually has the resolution of what you'd see at a movie theater. That would be amazing.

And it's burglar proof.

I knew someone had to step it up. There was 120" one last year at CES an those things are just amazing. I remember we asked the how much it was six figures, I don't remember the exact price. Whats sad is that this one of the only things that are cool about CES anymore. I remember walking through and was wowed by almost everything now its like zzzzzzz.

It's not Wii Remote proof though :emperor:emperor

Honestly, for the price, it would probably be cheaper to buy a 1080p projector

The price for a 103" plasma is about 70K and they say this is much more. Yeah you could get a full high end theater setup for less then this beast.

Why would you even want something that big?! Stop compensating people!

hehe

Seriously, I am happy with my 32"! :D

That, and I never watch TV anymore and I seldom play video games.

I will stop at nothing short of IMAX in my house. I will get it one day, oh I will......

Seriously, I'm wondering how they deliver something like that, much less get it inside the house...

Eh, most likely the only places buying those would be something like a museum or something where they've got lots of money and lots of room.

Actually, it's almost 4x the resolution of a 1080p display. And it works in daylight.

It's 4k, not 4x the resolution. 1080p is 2k or 1920x1080. 4k is 4096x2160.

My projector works just as well in the daylight as my plasma. You have to light control for both.

As for 4k tech. We are a long ways before that sees the light of day for consumers.(edit: I should say as a replacement for 2k)
