Awesome work Ven. It's hard to light the eyes, no?

Probably a pain on a movie set as well seeing that his eyes are so deep set.

I actually think the eyes look better when shadowed a little, as it can lower the "painted eye" look a bit. Not just with Ven's paint job, but with pretty much ever 1/6 sculpt I've seen.

I'm over the moon right now to have Ven painting mine. The sculpt, as everyone knows, is incredible. But I know I'm not the only one who was worried like crazy that the sculpt would be covered up with mediocre paint jobs.

very! thats why I had to tilt the head up and have the lights under the sculpt.... truely amazing sculpt tho!

Man, this sculpt was such a pleasure to paint... I'd take colored resin over anything anyday!

however, I do find that the sculpt is looking a bit lesser like Bale, once its painted up? Its a very nice paint up, but I dunno why I feel that way...

I haven't bought a body / suit / anything for Wayne yet. I think it makes the wait for the sculpt a little easier. If I had a headless body waiting for it, I'd be bouncing off the walls.

Yeah, just did a scan on eBay and it's looking in the $120+ range. Bah.
