The sculpt is still one of the best customs ever, but man...some of the paint jobs we've seen just ruin it. 3 out of those 8 look good to me, the rest...well, that's all I'll say.

I don't think I'll ever change my opinion on custom paint jobs unless sculptors can feasibly cast in higher-quality material. Kuato, Lalla and Elvis are the only ones thus far that have been able to capture the translucent skin look correctly. It's one of the hardest things to do unless you actually cast in flesh-toned material.

I think that's a bit harsh mate, more than 3 there look good, in fact i'd say they all look good and i'd be happy with any of them on my shelf.

Plus, some of these heads were cast in the translucent material, some weren't, so i'd have a guess and say those you mentioned were indeed heads cast in the translucent material. Maybe Ven's version as well.

Well there you go. Not trying to be harsh, honestly, just pointing out what I've been saying for a long while about how paint jobs can make or break a good sculpt.

The casting material is key here, because in plain resin you have to put numerous coats of paint on to achieve even semi-realistic flesh tone and it always ends up looking caked-on and very doll-like. That's the #1 problem with any human sculpt, be it custom or something like Sideshow's G.I. Joe line. It makes or breaks it.

Hi, thanks for everyone's comment.

Sorry that the photos seem too "yellow" coz' the color temperature issue of my notebook. (My PC has broken down last week)

Same photos, but with the right color now. Enjoy!! :dance:dance:dance
