Interesting list, thought it was a fun look through. All voted on by the users of IMDb.

Number 1 was Band of Brothers, can not argue that. Planet Earth was two and Breaking Bad (should have been 2) was number 3.

Well, technically Band of Brothers was a mini series and so was Planet Earth, so Breaking Bad is the #1 tv series

Seinfeld should be higher, imo. I don't get the ranking, a bunch of shows have the same score.

Disagree with most of it. Breaking Bad was great but I don't think anywhere as near as a amazing everyone makes it out to be. Especially in the span of all TV shows.

Yeah, can't take it seriously when the recent Sherlock is number 10. Band of Brothers was awesome, though, and the Wire and Breaking Bad would both be in my own top 5.

About what I expected to be honest, though I think that Monty Python's Flying Circus should be even higher on the list, Fawlty Towers too.

Have you seen Avatar: the Last Airbender? I've heard it's a really good show, unlike the crappy film. I can see the Simpsons that low. That show hasn't been good in 15 years, imo. It was good in the 90's though.

Avatar The Last Airbender is the greatest animated tv show ever in my opinion. I think it might even surpass the 90s Simpsons. It is on Netflix, I highly suggest watching a few episodes. It deserves to be ranked in the top 25.

Twilight Zone, True Detective (season 1), Twin Peaks and South Park make up my top 5.

I loved Sons of Anarchy but the last two seasons were really poor.

The Avatar: Last Airbender animated series is outstanding. It is a mature, moving, and coherent story that works for both children and adults.

I love Simpsons seasons 3 through 8, possibly the finest comedy ever on screen, but overall the show is poor because of so much mediocrity for so long.

Thinking about it I'd say I love the 1995 Pride and Prejudice miniseries the most, although Lonesome Dove is pretty fantastic too. Mad Men would probably be my top TV series proper.

Wait - what???

What is better? It is the most accurate portrayal of anything ever told on tv and is the greatest war story ever told. Nothing is bad about it, whether you like war stories or not, it deserves to be top 5 on every tv list. It is flawless.

I find it hard to compare a show with 15 episodes total to a show that lasted 8 or more years. Also cable vs network tv, the difference in how many episodes they make a year is a huge difference.

Some of my faves are on the list and some of them aren't. Many of them I have never seen lol.
