I think they need to make A Tuco and Angel Eyes, seeing what a great job they done with Blondie, Could have an alternate outfit for Angel Eyes for when he is disguised as the union soldier.

Ok day dream over.

I was talking to Denny and Iris about this. I told him that there is a big demand to complete the series and he said that he'll ask Rainman if he minded (they don't really like to do things that Rainman already done).

Hopefully, he doesn't mind. It'd be great to have all three together.

Yes sir!

It would help if people expressed their interest for the bad & the ugly here. If Denny sees that this would be even nearly as successful I'm sure it would get off the ground

I would probably be interested in Denny's GBU set. It would be great if Tuco was costumed in the bandit outfit and maybe Angel Eyes in the Union soldier uniform.

I have Rainman's versions of the trio, the more the merrier!
It's great Denny doesn't want to step on Rainman's toes, but how many Daniel Craig's, Christian Bale's, Heath Ledger's etc. are there?
Not to mention other custom versions of Blondie. IMHO Rainman's Blondie captured Clint's likeness the least. There seems to be plenty of room for Denny's versions.

I'd love to... right after Dirty Harry.

Scott just release a great version of it right now..
Would be a very lack of imagination two following release of the same caracter from a 70' film...

With So many greats unexplored and bad explored caracters out of there...

Denny obviously loves our input in deciding which figures to create, but you have to give any custom or even any 1/6 company space to create figures they really want to make. Denny was planning on asking Trevor about potentially doing a Dirty Harry of their own. So who knows?

Here is what i got from Trev abut Harry some time ago

I'm up for it if Denny is! Sounds great!!

Denny and I are going to be doing one project soon, but I'd be up for Harry after, if he likes. It's up to Denny.

Time is tough for me to balance. I am usually sculpting so much at once...but I would enjoy doing this one.

best-
Trev

So-seems to me-it's up to Dennie:)

I've got to agree. I'd like to try to get something going, and, while I'd like to maybe ask Scott if he's okay with it, I also think that two different products can cater to different tastes. If you compare this project, for example, to the past Blondies, you can see where they differ. Scott and Rainman have their own style, and I respect that, but it's almost like a different animal compared to the Harry I want, which is a super realistic, super accurate one. I'd, at least, wait until all of the VM Harrys are out, out of respect, but I also don't feel like waiting another two years for the Harry that I want because someone else decided to try it.

Well I asked Denny a couple times about Dirty Harry, and he said he'd have to ask Trevor about it. Soooo we just need one of them to ask the other! :hi5:

I really like Velvet Morning's Dirty Harry, but I too think there can be a different release from iminime/trevor.

Yeah, the bottom line is that there is plenty of room for more Harry. Hell, there are even some people, who might've missed out on Scott's release, who would like a shot at this one.

That being said, if I were in charge of this project, I'd say that a good DX would be something like his hot dog. It's not integral, but it'd be a cool extra.:lol

The thing with comparing Iminime's Blondie to a past Blondie is that the past figures were old, rare, and expensive on the secondary market, not too mention all being flawed in noticeable ways. Scott JUST put his Harry on sale and I think it is amazing - doing another Harry within a year of that one would be a little confusing. I feel it'd be like Rainman turning around and announcing his next figure was Patrick Bateman- why do that when another major player JUST put one out?

On the other hand, Angel Eyes and Tuco sold out from Rainman long ago. It is very difficult to piece together a high quality version of either figure given the rarity of the Rainman heads, and there are not many alternatives. Given the exceptional quality of the Iminime Blondie, it is only logical that you would want to complete one of the most iconic trios in film history. I would love nothing more than to get Tuco and Angel Eyes from Iminime.

Uhh but Rainman is or was the creative advisor/director for iminime. Denny and him are really good friends and frequently collaborate together. Scott's Dirty Harry figure was a complete sell out, so why would this affect him? I'd love to see iminime/Trevor's take on it! Their Blondie blew me away, and I'm excited to see more Eastwood from them! (And different artists have different artistic styles/sculpts/paints)

Well said :)

Good DX being a hotdog? Iminime saves DX tiers for second headsculpts.

I always figured it was something to differentiate between the regular sets. Suffice it to say, I would like a second headsculpt.

So, how about the hot dog and this?

Or maybe this?

Bottom line: if this project goes anywhere, I want to be a major player.:lol

I am not saying anything about it affecting Scott or the sale of his figure, it is more that I do not see what an Iminime figure could really bring to the table that would trump Scott's figure, especially given the limited demand for the character and that 35 people just bought Scott's figure to satisfy that demand. I understand that each artist has a style, but ultimately they are all shooting for the same goal: a realistic depiction of the character. Sure, Iminime could do Harry from one of the other movies or in one of his other outfits and avoid some of these problems.

I am not even against the idea of an Iminime Harry - I just think that it would be nice to see other characters, particularly the other GBU characters given their rarity and relevance to Iminime's Cowboy. I know that overlap is bound to happen, but come on - Scott's Head and Clothing sets aren't even on sale yet and already there is clamor for Iminime making a Dirty Harry figure? Just seems odd.

To be fair, though, people were bouncing around this idea not long after we saw the finished sculpts, some even earlier. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but they should suddenly hold off on that because someone else decided to take it on in the meantime?

Exactly. These are, hands down, the best Eastwood sculpts I've seen, and, if I could have anyone tackle one of Eastwood's defining roles for our collections, it would be these guys.

So, what if IMINIME offered a "final encounter" Callahan and offered the first look as a clothing set later?
