Every time I watch this scene, it reminds me of just how badly I need this figure. It's not even Blondie's scene, really, but I just feel that this will most likely be the definitive collectible to own in order to represent the films, and Blondie/Manco/The Man with No Name IS the embodiment of the Dollars trilogy.

Yeah, I know, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more excited with every day. This is the excited part of my personality talking, though; the reasonable part is crossing his fingers and hoping that it takes a very long time to reveal this thing; long enough for him to get his funds together, anyways (or recuperate from having his kidney removed, if Plan A goes to crap).

Yeah, I know, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more excited with every day. I've been a victim of that same internal conflict many a times in this hobby.

The unhatted head is being produced for 30 limited for DX.

After that, the sculpt will be sent to Trevor for hatted head with Cigar for modification.

But you don't need to make that decision now, ITs not even going to be offered right now. Let the man take his time to do something worthy of the calibre of a 500 dollar figure. There is no rush here. The man works full time for sideshow and is one of the best all time talents, for something like this we want the best of Trevor Grove.

I wish companies took this approach. If Hot Toys took the time to get it right (*cough*DX 12*cough*) I might have a Batman. So far, the Blondie pickings have been slim, and, even then, they weren't up to par quality wise. This leads me to believe that Eastwood has a relatively difficult likeness to capture, and it's hit or miss. Let Trevor take his time, who knows, you might save me from future health problems (I've heard life is hard with one kidney)!

In one of my conversations with Trev during the work of this project he told to me that while sculpting this he realised why he hasnt seen a really great Clint sculpt till date... he said its one of the toughest likeness he has ever tried his hand on and was one of his most challenging sculpts. One of the issues he mentioned was that with all the way Clint crinkled his eyes and his face, it would be too misleading to end up sculpting him looking too old, or too unrefined or at times totally miss the mark in terms of facial shape and therefore likeness...

But lemme assure you that the Clint sculpt you will see when its unveiled will be THE DEFINITIVE Blondie sculpt ever. The man has shown why his reputation is what it is...

I'm looking forward to it, and, judging by his past work, if ever there was a man to make the impossible possible, in terms of sculpting, it would probably be Trevor.

Don´t understand what you mean... DX 12 wasn´t the BEST figure ever made for a Batman figure?
