Ha, well Henry and Johnny T both rock those baby blues and some serious chin cleft. So that tracks. I think the softness of the paintwork on the final, and those dark bags under his eyes throw it for me. I’ve noticed those dark bags on a lot of pics, i don’t know if the under eyelid was made larger, or if they just went too heavy with the dark paint tone of it, but it’s really noticeable. The mouth looks soft as hell also too plus the hair and eyebrows appear a bit lighter and softer now. I can’t say there’s anything I like better about the final.

Sure they rock the cleft and eye color…but one shouldn’t be mistaken for another with a single glance. I sure as heck don’t see a hint of travolta when I watch Cavill on screen 😆. But with that proto, definitely.

As for the dark bags:

It’s there on this proto in this collage. It’s dependent on lighting.

I’m not saying you’re wrong. You’re right that It isn’t as sharp as the proto. Considering the sharpness of Battinson and Gandalf, Cavillman did have a bit of a drop off.

But it’s nowhere near the disaster some suggest it is.

The proto looks so good in that collage. Dead on likeness compared to Cavill in my eyes. I honestly never saw John Travolta in any of the InArt attempts, but that’s subjective, and I can’t argue it if that’s what anyone else sees. I still think the final is solid and am eager to get it in hand.

And yeah bags in certain lighting is normal, but it seems really pronounced on the final. Like they painted the bags darker for some reason. My guess is, it was a choice they made hoping the darker tone would make the eyes appear more lifelike, but perhaps was a little too heavy handed.

I mean it’s pretty dramatic in any light. It’s got a slightly “Addams Family/Tim Burton” vibe. Slightly! Not saying it’s ruining the sculpt or anything.

Great lighting! Agreed best 1/6 scale Cavill sculpt so far. Hope someone recasts as Geralt lol
I'm getting an InArt Cavill head repainted and rooted as Geralt for the SooSoo body 🙈 Just need to figure out the best way to connect the head to the body.

Should be finished some time in April and I'll post it xD

Can’t wait to see  :monkey3 :monkey2
I'm really excited to see how it comes out!

This collector and I are both sending our sculpts to Duke Avocado, but he's planning to use the angry Superman sculpt and add the black toxic eyes. I'm having Duke repaint the calm Superman sculpt with movable orange Witcher eyes. We'll get to see what both InArt sculpts look like as Geralt!

Super interested! Keep us updated! :monkey3

Got the balance invoice from KG yesterday and paid.
No email notification though so good thing I just happened to be checking my PayPal to confirm a refund.

I’ve been without a blue suit Supes since this was announced so it’ll be good to pose him up next to my Knightmare Team in the empty space that will eventually host a BVS collection.

nice choice for the base with BM !

I picked one up by chance in Hong Kong yesterday. I only examined the figure and magnetic base except most of the accessories I left in the box. Firstly, the packaging and unboxing experience is extremely satisfying and well packaged. More so than unboxing my HT Batman 2022 and Darth Vader ROTJ. Inart definitely had the premium feeling.

For the figure, I’ve had see no issues and everything seems to be perfect. The head sculpt imo is incredible and likeness is top notch. I’d rate it a 9/10. The angry sculpt is 8.5 to me.

The magnetic base to my surprise held up very well, my expectations were low due to watching reviews but with little effort, I could position the magnets and stand the figure sturdily. Obviously the magnetic base isn’t going to be for dynamic posing but that’s what the flight pole is for - I haven’t tested that yet.

As a big fan of MoS and BvS, and this being my first Inart fig, I am extremely happy with it.

I hated the Hot Toys figure and got absolutely ridiculed for it.

I thought, "what the hell is everybody else seeing?"

I can't even give it a pass for being an 8 year old figure, because Hot Toys was still cranking much better work at the time. And then their complacency, to not update their terrible figure for 2 subsequent releases...

Now those same people are looking at Inart's Superman going "ohh, I see it now".

What hasn't changed is they still won't acknowledge any flaws, even if it's a much better figure (and a competent one at that).

But I trust my eyes. I don't care if soy boys get offended for my personal opinion on their precious toys.

I don't love everything I'm seeing, but overall I'm satisfied. I decided to keep my order, though I don't expect to see it in hand before January. Until I do, I'll reserve final judgement. But for now, the thing that jumps out at me the most is the head to body ratio, which appears disproportionate in all the pictures I've seen.

I keep thinking, "that looks amazing!" As long as my thumb covers his head.

Either the body isn't wide enough, or the head isn't scaled properly (becoming a regular inconsistency with Inart).

Most likely it's a combination of both, but the neck is exacerbating the problem as well, and certain posing doesn't lend well to it either (which may limit display options).
