At this point I'd rather them do something different hot toys nailed this so just a waste of time.

I don’t think anyone could accuse hot toys of nailing this. It was such a clumsy execution from top to bottom.

I was thinking I was going to be alone with thinking the figure doesn’t look that impressive. Glad it’s not just me. Doesn’t look a lot better than the Hot Toys efforts to me.

My first thought was that the sculpt looked squished and this comparison kinda confirms that to me, maybe it's partly the way they filmed it or something. I still think it looks good but needs some work although I can't quite point out what needs fixing. I'm sure they'll update it. And I like the HT but even just its giraffe neck makes it worse than this IMO lol

Yeah the hot toys isnt great, seems like such a wasted effort. I wonder if Inart will bother to make a rooted hair version, looks pretty good already sculpted, also want to see what accessories it comes with.

As a huge Cavill stan, I'm not approving this headsculpt. It looks fine but I'm not impressed. First of all eyes are wrong shape and colour, that takes whole likeness away, also head is too rounded, Cavill has a very angular and sharp face. I'm sure they'll update it in some point but rn I can't pretend. Suit also doesn't look accurate. Just in general I wish they did MOS version, while I love BvS look in the movie, I think whole hair thing doesn't transfer well into merchandise. Isn't InArt and Queen Studios basically same company? They should have shrinked down that 1/3 Black Superman sculpt.

The likeness and the muscles have always prevented me getting one from Hot Toys.

I actually think the likeness from Inart is much better.

We can already tell his body proportions are looking much more natural which will be a huge plus and the suit appears to be fabric.
I was hoping to be more blown away by the sculpt but I imagine that will hit a little further down the road. It's not like this doesn't look anything like Cavill. It's actually pretty great. The recent Blitzway Geralt statues likenesses are truly stunning so they may have stole some of the thunder from this.

I can see elements of chrome reflecting light through the suit but I guess the subdued lighting they use for these shots isn't exploiting that effect to its fullest potential.

Colour-wise, it's looking a little like a mash up of BVS and the JL suit.

All in all, I'm still on board for an upgrade and looking forward to the full reveal.

Like in so many other situations, people on these boards freak out after 1 photo. This is not right, that is not right.
As normal give it some time and most will be saying it's amazing ! It's the normal cycle.

The likeness is definitely there for the most part, but those eyes are killing it at the moment. Do IA and Queen not speak to each other?

And IA need to pay more attention to the suit details.

Reminds me a lot of the Adam Gu sculpt but definitely needs work.
