One of our members here who has a close relationship with the artists HT are using for the BvS 2.0 Batman and Superman figures.
What other BVS 2.0 figures are they making? Wonder Woman? Armored Batman? Knightmare?

I could be wrong as it’s been a while since the info was shared, but I believe it was hinted that a diecast Armored Batman may be coming down the line. Can’t remember about Knightmare or Wonder Woman, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a DX/Artisan for her similar to the DX/Artisan Wanda.

I think Inarts will be the definitive choice.

As the latest INART product with high popularity, the selection of fabrics for the Superman costume has garnered attention from collectors. We have received many inquiries regarding the material composition of the suit, its flexibility in various poses, and concerns about potential wear over time. Allow us to address these queries comprehensively here.

After comparing over ten fabric options, we settled on a combination of chemical fiber fabrics and PVC screen-printed coatings. Employing cutting-edge technology available in the market, we ensure that the figures remain securely bonded and do not detach even with long- term use. However, owing to the inherent nature of the material, it is important to observe daily protective measures such as avoiding direct sunlight exposure and contact with chemicals.

Furthermore, we have optimised the fabric to be both lighter and thinner, minimizing noticeable stacking when posing dynamically. This enhancement not only contributes to a more natural appearance but also allows for a broader range of poses, catering to the diverse play preferences of collectors.

We appreciate your interest in this product. and please feel free to leave us a comment if you have more behind-the-scenes information you'd like to know!”

It's nice to see posts like this, but I wish they'd use a proto that had at least some of the errors fixed. Right now it doesn't look like they're actually fixing anything.

Hot Toys is also working on a new Cavill Supes figure if you want to wait and see what that looks like. Can then decide whichever one you want to go with. I would definitely pass on the already existing Hot Toys Cavill figures though.
I wonder if hot toys will reuse the BVS head for the 4th time on their 2.0. Knowing them, they will. Their laziness knows no bounds 🤣

It’s actually nice to see that it’s done on a stretchy fabric based material and not some rubbery thick sticky one.

This is what Hot Toys should be using for their Spider-Man figures and a ton of others. Would really benefit from using something like this. Looks like something you can actually pose around with and not have it fall apart or crease badly.

I am begging Hot Toys to use this for the red and blue sections on the Spider-Man figures. The current material just does not look right on the red sections.

Still can’t get enough of this figure. It makes sense why this was a day one pre order but now that I think about it… all my InArt figures I got have been day one pre orders 😂 this company is definitely winning the 1/6 scale wars
They are...now you get JND trying to copy the exact same releases that IA is doing...its ridiculous.... InArt didn't just change the game, they are the game

I swear I don’t even think JND will beat in the 1/6 wars. All they can offer is silicone sculpts to hide joints that will deteriorate eventually and cause issues and have magnetic eyes to move them around. I won’t lie they are cool new innovations but I still don’t see them beating InArt. The metal accessories and licensed weapons took it all the next level for me and don’t get me started on attention to detail too 🔥 all I can say about Hot Toys at this point is ewwww 😂

While I've had issues with my InArt products, I definitely agree that they are the ones that everyone else is playing catch up to now. I do get excited to see what new products they have in store for us even if it's something I'm not going to buy. I am glad that someone else has finally stepped in to push the hobby further, and give us products that we can sort of see where our money is going for that increased cost for the most part.

Eh, they still have some gems among the duds. I don't write them off completely and will still buy their products when I'm interested. Despite what anyone thinks about the show, I'd say the HT Ahsoka line have been knock-outs as far as figure protos go.

With that said, HT should, at this point, be able to match their protos pretty much exactly (unless it's being improved upon), given how long they've been in the game. When you have goose-eggs in the production like the recent Andrew and Tobey Spiderman for example or even DOFP 70s Wolverine where the final headsculpt doesn't match that beautiful proto sculpt in neither depth of detail nor paintwork, you gotta wonder what you're paying for. EDIT: I mean, HT couldn't even be bothered to include the articulated sculpted detailed forearms with Wolverine like the ones the used on TVA Loki and instead went with the smooth, unpainted plastic. I guess they figured most ppl would swap out for the seamless look but all things considered, both sets should've been detailed and painted.
