At first this GIF made it look quite accurate but the more I look at it the further away it gets.
Like what? Cape could sit more flush on the shoulder traps, waist/stomach area can be wider on the sides, while the lats can be a bit slimmer but outside of that, it's pretty damn close, at least to that reference.

That plus narrower neckline, length and taper of the neck, the vertically stretched abs, taller symbol, broader chest, shorter upper rib section, height and taper of the lines on the side and the belt. Suit under the groin, width of the upper leg, width of the calves, the ankle, the V in the boot.

That being said it's still a great Cavill Superman figure, no doubt.

I wish we’d scrutinize certain Hot Toys to this extent lol

Yeah looks like the 1/6 Gods are taking care of me cause I’m INART’s number #1 shill :banana:bow y’all that badmouth them piss off the 1/6 Gods and in turn, get stuck with bad QC:huh
You better pray to your InArt Gods about my packages :horse :ROFLMAO: Personally I don't know what to expect. If I won't get any quality issues on any of my figures, I'll eat my own hair and Kit will be allowed to sleep in peace. :monkey3

I have horrible lighting, but wow, this is insane! Gorgeous figure. I know I come off as a stan, but this company really does make great figures. :dunno

@JorjeCroft unfortunately, no QC issues with my copy…

Don’t know but something about the way the hair is painted / the smooth texture / lack of texture makes it look very toyish

Body proportions wise it kills the HT version

I was thinking the same thing. The hair stranding doesn’t appear deep and/or fine enough if that makes sense? Otherwise it looks pretty nice.

I think because of the nature of the slicked back hair style with lots of product hold, it was always going to look less detailed. It’s a smooth cut, wet look.

Doesn’t look toyish to me in person tho, but that’s just me.

I haven't seen Superman in person yet, but I got sculpted Aragorn and while hair is nicely sculpted it also looks very flat and has no dimension. Prototype Superman had more detailed hair texture and Jinx can't change my mind. :monkey3
