I like the idea of getting the eyebrows repainted to have a more stern expression, but it needs to be done well like what we saw in Rodman's repaint. The one above by danastudio3 isn't as good unfortunately

^ It's pretty nice in hand dude. I think you will be pleased with it, assuming of course you don't get a lemon. You probably won't like the base magnets though.
Ha! yea definitely hope I don't get one with QC issues. Thankfully, this one doesn't appear to have as many as other figures like say The Batman.

I don't particularly like the magnetic bases, but the newer system is a lot better than the permanently placed ones they started out with. Haven't had any issues with Aragorn and Harry Potter thankfully.

Same here. I wasn't going to buy it but when I saw I had 1 day left before my order automatically cancels, I caved and paid the balance🤦. I got my tracking # from Gundamit. Now just waiting to see how long it takes to show up.
:hi5:

Yea, I almost regretted paying the balance b/c I had in my mind that I paid a steep NRD like I have with others and didn't want to lose it since I've already forgone my Pattison Bats one with OSK. It wasn't until after I paid the balance that I remembered the NRD was only $3 at the time :lol

Oh well, now that it's coming, I'm pretty excited for it. Superman is my favorite superhero, so I'm typically always happy to have some sort of Superman item on the way. Mine shipped last night/this morning so probably at least two weeks before he arrives for me. Will be surprised if it's any faster.

Some straight out of the box shots. Haven’t taken anything else out yet. Personally love the likeness on this one. Reads stronger than even their Aragorn imo, which requires a lot more futzing to look right.

Thoughts on the figure so far:
- Suit is a bit loose and thin in the elbow area and the wrist. Not sure what’s the work around. If you make it too tight, you lose articulation and risk the suit ripping when you bend the elbow. Still wish there was a way to smooth it out.
- Cape drapes really nice, feels like a custom but it does need to sit more flush on the shoulders. Will need to water futz it down.
- Haven’t had a problem with their magnet stands yet but this moving mechanism still sucks to deal with. Just slap a giant metal plate on there or don’t do it at all.
- He’s tall. Measures about 12.75” from the bottom of his feet to the very top of his hair piece. They need to scale their upcoming Batfleck properly with this or it’s not going to look good. Not displaying this with any other figure atm so it’s not a problem when on his own. Will definitely be over scaled if you plan on displaying him with other figures though.
- I do love the proportions overall. I was never a fan of him being overly bulky. His leaner build in MoS was perfect imo. Might not be fully accurate but I prefer what they went with here.
- Interested in seeing Hot Toys 2.0 but I’m kind of hard pressed to see any reason to dump another $200-$300 on yet another Cavill figure that will have its own pros and cons. Maybe their suit and body is vastly better and we can mix/match. Definitely not buying an entirely separate figure though. I just need them to finally announce their Batfleck.
- No QC issues from what I can see. Will have to check the wired cape and hands.

Not sure if you have him on you, but this pairs well with bvs batman1.0. That figure comes out taller than this superman. ( not by much)
